Eh, for storage it's ok. Security seems to be pretty good as far as units and inner property, but its not in the best area (imo). It seems to be kept clean though overall.

I have been doing business with American Store and Lock for 12 years and I truly could not go to any other place but here!! I am treated like family from Kim and Shantel and their professionalism speaks for itself. I understand why alot of people come to this business for what they need because of the two ladies who make it so easy to work with. I so enjoyed my experience at American store & lock. Kim & Shantel are AWESOME!!!!These ladies work together extremely well. They were right on any situation I had or needed. Their response time was way beyond my expectations! I will most definitely refer anyone who needs storage space or office space. They made me feel like family. Kim was amazing and made my experience with U-HAUL Amazing! From checking the truck out to returning the truck is was a smooth transition. I will indeed recommend anyone to use that U-Haul service and ask for Kim. The truck was nice and clean.

From May through September of this year, while in transition from selling a home until moving into a new home, my wife and I rented two storage units at American Store and Lock on Monroe Road in Charlotte. From day 1 until our final move out Kim, the manager, and her assistant Chantel were most accommodating in every aspect. We felt that we made the right choice and received the utmost in customer service and value. The staff at this location are friendly, professional, and were very helpful with providing answers to questions I had about my rental. The process was easy and quick. For any needs I have regarding rentals I would definitely return and use the location again.
