Makes the DMV look like a fast food joint.Prepare to wait. And, wait. And wait. And then wait some more.First visit, waited over an hour to see the optometrist. After an hour after my appointment time, I was still 3rd in line. Rescheduled for the first appointment of the day the following week.At the rescheduled appointment, even being the first in line, I waited 35 minutes after my appointment time slot before seeing the optometrist.Their systems could not pull my insurance, either.2 Stars as the lady at end was (eventually) successful of getting me my contacts and glasses prescription.Bring a few books to read if you go to this location.

very good service and attention. The doctor was also very kind and professional. but when I went to get my glasses they had a different prescription I hope they fix the problem

The office help wasrude and very unprofessional. Lacked gentleness and was preoccupied with all things outside. Very loud and ghetto. The optometrist I saw was great and very pleasant and explained everything to me.

Customer service is good but not the exam I was expecting. Came in after making an online appoint for 4:35, arrived more than 15 min early. Everything was going well until the exam with the doctor started. A video was taken, I found it odd but thought it was a new thing they were doing, then, who I thought was the doctor stated that we would receive a phone call from the doctor for the results. I didn’t understand what was meant initially. Well after some doubt I asked what was meant and she explained the doctor would call to review in which I started to understand that it was a virtual appointment and not a in person appointment. When I made the appointment it did NOT indicate it would be a virtual appointment. I was in a appointment that I did not feel comfortable in. There were so many opportunities for staff to indicate I was set up for a virtual appointment and no one stated it until it was too late.I definitely think this is a good learning opportunity, customers need to be informed if a virtual appointment is what they will be doing, because a lot of people like myself are not comfortable with this set up.

Everyone is nice however my experience left much to be desired in terms of swiftness. My appointment was set for 2 and here I am an hour later not even being seen by the doctor yet. I am now late for work but can't leave until I'm seen as I need this test done asap.

Everyone from the time I walked in the door until the time it was for my eye exam were 100 percent on point. I will always go back to that location. All the employees and the Doctor were fabulous. I really appreciate your time and what you do.Thank you so very much.

This place is Ghetto Inconsiderate an unprofessional. My appt was 2:10 I got on the door at 2:15 (waiting in line) got to the desk at 2:20 . Told the girl me name she said everything would be fine . The lady next to her over heard her while on the phone . Yelled and said "OH NO HES LATE HIS APPOINTMENT IS CANCELLED" Not know the situation.While on the phone Be aware . Go else where. Hire better employees

I had a wonderful experience! My appt was at 2:10, and I was walking out by 2:50! Dr was very knowledge, and kind. All staff were very welcoming. 10/10 recommend. Excited to get my trial contacts, as I’ve never had contacts before! They do provide a short class where they show you how to use them and put them in.

We had an unprofessional encounter with an employee over a week as we attempted to get my husband in to be seen. Yet after contacting to submit a grievance the manager Missy contact us and apologized ( even though it wasn't her fault) and provided great customer service recovery. For this reason, we reconsidered not going elsewhere. If there is an issue with front staff please contact the store manager and if it is valid it will be handled professionally and effectively leaving the consumer feeling valued, heard and appreciated. This type of service deserves 5 stars.

Came to visit this location due to the Matthews location being completely booked. I was assisted with no hassle. Nyla worked great with her customer service skills. 10/10 definitely recommend.

I had a wonderfully nice technician. She informed me that the eye exam would be a video call. I told the doctor that I've experienced some white "gunk" forming in my eyes and would like to get my eyes checked out. He then told me he could not perform a physical test because he was remote. I should have just left then. Because it is not the reason I went in for a visit.I had not received an exam in a few years so I thought. I could use a new pair of glasses. 2 pair for $79 ?Okay.... let's do it. This message is getting longer than I expected, so let me just get to it.After he changed a few slides he told me that I should receive 2 pair. One for reading and one for distance. I don't have any issues seeing by distance but okay. He asked if u had anymore questions. I answered no, Thank you.I was then ushered out to the lobby to find some frames for my new glasses. I sat down with a lady and she told me. Your glasses are thick do you want.....? For the life of me I do not remember. I think something was .... progressive. I said replied thick? I have readers on now and they are 1.25. The lady at the desk was rude and abruptly said, this is your new prescription. This lady was awful. She then threw down an example of how thick the glasses would be. They were like coke bottles. I mentioned to her, if my glasses were going to be this drastically changed, I wished the doctor would have mentioned something to me.I hope you're still reading this.The short of it is, the video conference didn't work for me. I was not happy with the doctor or the lady at the desk. The lab technician was the only person that gave me a good experience. Not to mention I paid $140 for two pair of glasses not the $79 advertised price.Picked them up today. Still not happy. The distance glasses are not a good fit. The readers magnify words 2 times more than I feel I needed. I kindly asked the person today to just make both of them readers.Fyi.... I'm writing the message with my old glasses. The new ones are just too much.Today the lady said she needed to hurry and passed me off to someone else. I had to ask for a bag. Awful. Awful experience both visits. After I pick up the other pair of glasses,I will not return to this franchise. That store's entire personnel should take a lesson in customer service. I will donate these glasses and find another place for my eye care needs.

I am so grateful for this entire staff for caring about my eye health and care. The doctor is of the highest professional standard of any eye doctor that I have had. She is smart, concerned about the progression of eye sight; the absence of eye disease and disorders are always checked. The store manager is a hard worker and performs customer services like no other! Thank you North Lake AB! Your staff must be the best in the entire AB store system.

This was my first time here! I was thoroughly impressed with the staff. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I would like to shoutout Missy. She explained all of my option and was honest when I asked her advice about a pair of glasses. I look forward to using their services in the future.
