I absolutely adore the staff at BenchMark. I had suffered from really painful TMJ symptoms for about a year before finally calling them and asking for help. I worked with Kelly, who was fantastic -- she was super knowledgeable and made me feel heard and understood as we worked through my issues. I genuinely felt like she was with me throughout my journey to feeling better, and I was impressed that she communicated directly with the doctor I was seeing to address other aspects of the issue.I also appreciated that the office runs efficiently; you're always seen on time and the staff help each other out. For example, if Kelly had to be pulled away to help another patient, someone else would help guide me through my exercises and make sure I wasn't just sitting around. You can tell that the staff work well together and are all super knowledgeable. Susan at the front desk was super helpful in ensuring that my insurance was kept informed so that I paid as little out-of-pocket as possible.I'm really grateful that I had the BenchMark team as part of my care plan, and even though I've "graduated" from PT, I know I can go back for extra help as needed! Thank you to the whole team for your help.

Benchmark physical therapy helped me get back to playing basketball. The physical therapist were kind and friendly and very professional. I will recommend to anyone who has an injury and wants to get back to feeling stronger

UPDATE: DO NOT USE any subsidary of Upstream Rehabilitation. I was left the below message from Jennifer yesterday and tried calling today to discuss my account. WHAT HAPPENED?! The 2 reps (Glenn and Joann) kept pushing me to their credit service. They could not provide me any detailed information regarding my account. How can someone leave me a voicemail and a message review below and not be able to provide account information?! RIDICULOUS!I used BenchMark Physical Therapy a subsidary of Upstream. The therapist at the Ballantyne (Charlotte, NC) location were great. I worked with several different therapists and was pleased with everyone. They did an amazing job with my therapy post surgery. No complaints with the location, staff, etc.5 stars if I could rate them.Now the corporate office (Upstream Rehabilition) has been awful. I have called in multiple times to question my bills due to insurance. They have been less than helpful everytime. They push me off to either my insurance, the clinic, etc everytime. If you have questions about your insurance payments, I would go elsewhere as Upstream will NOT help you.And do NOT ask for an itemized ledger because it is TERRIBLE. They took a co-pay from me everytime (even though I didn't have a co-pay). Then they would apply to various dates without informing.Also I would recommend knowing your physical therapy benefits prior to any visits. The staff at the clinic would get approvals from my insurance, but my insurance ended up not paying because I had met number of visits. Finally, I've learned you have to shop around for phyiscal therapy within network. They all do not charge the same and you could get same service elsewhere for less out of pocket expenses/better coverage from insurance.

The staff here is fantastic. I've had lots of PT over the years, but have never had as much fun, while working hard, as I did here. All of the staff are very knowledgeable, encouraging and friendly. Easy to make appointments and plenty of parking. I highly recommend this location.

This is a great place. Kenzie and Kelly are professional, empathetic and tough all together. They push you to do your best and know exactly how to do it without making you feel defeated.Atmosphere is clean and relaxing. Great option for PT!

I was very pleased with my physical therapy at Benchmark Ballantyne. The staff was very knowledgeable, very professional and easy to work with. They explained how the exercises would help with my problems and were very patient with everyone. They really do a great job!

When I needed PT, my doctor recommended the staff at Benchmark Ballantyne, and I am so glad she did! The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and professional, and the list of attributes goes on and on. They really helped me, and I’m already looking for excuses to go back. Even though I “graduated”, working with them more would continue to benefit me, I’m sure! I’m thankful for their positive influence on my recovery!

I can only say wonderful things about my experience with Benchmark Physical Therapy-Ballantyne. I did my research and found all the right answers here. The therapy for my knee replacement was personalized to my needs and was very successful. The entire staff is personable, knowledgeable, professional and thoughtful. I will be returning for physical therapy after my next knee replacement. I highly recommend Benchmark Physical Therapy-Ballantyne.
