Carmel Commons is a clean, safe shopping center with a quiet and comfortable feeling, even at night. It features an eclectic mix of stores, including anchor stores, The Fresh Market, Chicken Salad Chick, and Amélies French Bakery, which offers European-style desserts. The area is well-maintained with landscaping and walking spaces. Many people visit, including high school students from across the street. A police presence is noted in the parking lot most days. However, the parking and driving experience can be difficult, with bushes that block views and create a hazard. The location is also popular for skating, with supportive workers.

This place has come so far in the last 10 years. They’ve up fitted most of the exterior and a lot of move. Tenants have moved in and there is a lot of quality wellness places, food and beverage and service type places.

This place has a few restaurants, some different foods, gas stations, and it's an okay spot overall.
