I paid off my 2017 BMW close to a year ago no w. The car loan was originally with a sub par credit union in Asheville North Carolina called Premier Federal Credit Union. PFCU then merged with Charlotte Metro Credit Union. It was at this time that I called a second time to have them release the paid for title to my automobile. They apologized and promised to send that title right away and they were sorry for the mistske on THEIR end. So then i waited...and I waited....and waited some more for my title. Despite my patience and understanding of the first two times this occured, I received NO title to my vehicle. Fast forward to this very minute, as i set here on hold with this corrupt group of clowns that have told me yet again for a THIRD TIME...that they apologize and are getting that handled right away. Remember...this is the 3rd time I have requested the paid for pink slip to my vehicle. I most definitely DO NOT trust this circus calling themselves a credit union. So, i give this credit union a 1 star review and thats only becuse there isn't an option available at this time on yelp for a ZER0 STAR REVIEW.

Our CU got bought by these guys...I figured that there could not be much difference in CUs. Wrong. They work their bill pay through a company called Fiserve who have zero customer service relations and will do nothing but try to get out of owning up to their mistakes. Calls to Skyla, well they just keep trying to blame Fiserve and say they cannot do anything. Obviously, neither company wants to be in business. I finally gave up, will be shopping for a more local CU that I can deal with instead of this company.

This bank takes your money. Be very careful. The bank will charge you a $5 inactivity fee. They took $90 of my money for not using my account. Literally a saving account to hold money they took my money. Also never heard of this one. They charge a $5 fee for a wrong address. So they send you mail ( a statement) and if it gets sent back to them they take a fee from your account. I will never use this bank and I would caution anyone about this. Absolute ripoff!!!

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PUT YOUR MONEY IN SKYLA. if your bank account information is stolen and someone is just spending all of your money, if it's after hours they tell you sorry go to a branch on Monday. So your bank is literally so incompetent that they can't handle fraud claims on a Friday and tell me to wait until Monday. I'll be there Monday alright to move all 4 accounts including my business account to a reputable bank that has a legit fraud department!!!

Not a great experience. I had a CD that matured and I am still waiting for the check 18 days later. Starting to wonder if this is a real bank or if I got scammed. Customer service says to wait a few days longer to see if the check arrives and they are using phrases like probably, guessing, I'm not sure, maybe, lucky, etc. They don't seem real convincing regarding when or if the check was mailed out. Wow. Great way to make money though, by keeping your customers money for an extra month. I wonder if they'll pay me the interest for "extending" my term. I doubt it.

Skyla bought (merged?) with my former credit union and it has been an unmitigated disaster. They must be headquartered in Pixley or Hooterville. I still haven't received my car title after I paid it off, and this will cause the new owner to be in trouble because it will exceed the 15 days he is allowed to register. I had to call them 4 times before they finally said they would mail it. I tried to transfer money on a Friday, at 2 p.m. EST, they told me they wouldn't make the transfer that day...it actually took them over 4 days to finally transfer the funds. They have no branches near me, and the only co-op is on a military base 30 miles away; impossible to deposit cash or a large check; I had to beg them to allow me to deposit a 37K check. You can never get anyone on the telephone and will sit for an hour on their chat feature. Planning on shutting down all my accounts and going with a better bank.

I joined Charlotte Metro credit Union, 9 years ago, and absolutely loved them! A 10 in every category! Ever since it switched over to Skyla, we have had one problem after another with customer service. We always had immediate help from their officers but now have been leaving numerous messages with no return calls and no one to help when we are looking to get a car loan. Looking for other credit unions to join at this point.

Well as soon as I walked in the door Jamie Harris greeted us with a smile she was nice and very polite she asked us what could she help us with once we told her what we need I was there to consolidate alone she asked me for the paperwork and documents that I needed and once she did that she ran the report and told us that we was good to go we were in and out and a matter of an hour the most. I know a lot of people don't consider a credit union but always think of always using all your resources and that was a good experience for me with this new credit Union.
