Old school style market that kills high prices to offer lower priced ones that will be increased value to get your thrills. Unlike other places where fancy interior frills keep prices that rise higher to claim no deals and spending money marking items up the hills towards higher priced meals. There's a competitive way of saving money at "the kitty" where simplicity lower prices to give chills and leave one giddy from great deals as the real nitty gritty way to appeal. Although they are selling so low, you can get even more bucks if you know how to save extra off the bill before you go. Just be sure you become a rewards member and download their app as one you remember. They have game-like ways of finding more money to save & to reduce your bill when you see no obstructions and explore how it will be dollars from reductions flowing without complicated instructions. Just try to see this place as I am sure it is the best to trace a deal if it's saving that you feel gives you the biggest thrill. It's where high prices are unreal when shopping at Food Lion for the deal saves the dollars spent still & your items are regularly priced so low to seal in the greater found grocery shopping appeal.

The only good thing about this shopping trip was I found items I wanted to purchase. One of the items All laundry detergent was on sale (regular price $9.49 and .50 off sale with an additional $2.50 off if use MVP card or download coupon at kiosk). I saw this sale when first starting shopping so I went to kiosk and downloaded coupon to ensure I get the offered sale. Not surprised the item scanned incorrectly. Took my receipt to customer service so they could honor their scan guarantee, which states if an "item scans incorrect you can get item for free." The cashier said she didn't know of this policy even though I have shopped at this location for years and the same cashier honored policy in the past. The cashier was very unprofessional and had a negative attitude. Mind you when I first entered the store the Customer Service Cashier was holding a customer's baby and socializing when she should have been working. Just to give you an idea of what kind of service to expect. Additionally I heard her yell out to a cashier to watch what they ring up because customers are coming into store trying to get over. She couldn't be talking about me because I had funds to pay for what I wanted. It was her negative vibes.Anyway, she finally calls the manager to the front (who by the way she could not remember his name). His name was Roberto and he said he was the Assistant Manager standing in for the store manager who was out on this day. He went back and forth about the store policy is not what I said it was and to go look it up online. He also said if you wanted something for "free" you came to the wrong place. I had to remind him that I had money and all Black people not looking for handouts. Just trying to get Food Lion to honor their "Scan Guarantee" policy. Roberto then says for me that is not their policy and for me to pull it up on my phone. I asked him to pull it up on his phone since it is your Food Lion policy. Go figure....he refused! If I had wanted something for free, why did I spend money at your store in the first place? What employee in a management position would talk down to a paying customer? And a Army Veteran as myself. Roberto came at me with a bad attitude and no willingness to listen or address my concerns. He asked me to leave the store because he did not want to deal with the issue at hand.Bottom line the service at this store is not up to par. By far one of the worst Food Lions in the Charlotte area. Any customer shopping this location and have an issue please do yourself some justice and call the Customer Service number listed on your receipt. Or take your business to stores that respect and appreciate customers who patronize them even when they have other options!!

The operation and customer service of this Food Lion is horrible. A current ad for after drinks of 5 six-packs for $11 is on. Got to store and for Diet Dr Pepper they were out. It appears the space allocated for this brand might have had 10 six-pacts tops. I asked an employee to check for more and there were no six packs left. Very deceiving and unethical for a company to advertise products and once in store they dont have the product. 5 six-packs would be 30 bottles. The employee said they had plenty of singles but no six-packs. I said it wouldn't be my preference but I would take 30 singles if sold for the same price. Another associate came out and argued it would not be the same price. Singles would cost $2.15 each whereas their sale was 5 six-packs for $11. I said 30 bottles was 30 bottles and the associate got very mean and argued with me it was not the same. Again, to me a 20oz bottle is the same whether it is sold in a six-pack or a single bottle but they would not consider it. The second employee was rude and demeaning snd I told him I wasn't there to argue over a soft drink, I would go elsewhere. I highly suggest that customers also look elsewhere for any product other than this Food Lion on Wendover.
