Store closed before 8:30 a worker with a mop and ponytail sat right there while me and others stood at the door! So ghetto and I wish I didn’t stop here but it was on my way home and urgently needed…. I understand you have to clean the store but before 8:30 is wild and to not even turn and say we are closed like people are not outside a whole 30-40 minutes before you close is crazy😭

This Dollar General as some others we have been in was very disoriented.
The shelves were very organized.
Every thing looked ransacked.
Looked like a tornado hit the place.
The workers were nice the store was a mess.
Are they going out of business and being bought out by Dollar Tree.
Dollar Tree is buying out some businesses we here.
My husband will never be shopping there again.

Previously Eckerd/Rite Aid now Dollar General. Store is good have fresh produce, frozen food section. However sometimes the store is cluttered and disorganized and employees there are african american just rude and talking/eating/working all at the same time and complaining. They act like they never seen penny items you are suppose to honor it and not question it to customers.

I know everyone is unhappy with the organization of this store and I do agree it is a mess and empty shelves. I believe that they are extremely understaffed and the staff that is there is exceptional. I think his name is Ray, he went above and beyond to help me out, and didn’t have to. He is always friendly even when under stress. Whatever he is paid it’s not enough. These days it’s so rare to receive good customer service, the staff here has always been polite and courteous. Maybe if customers wouldn’t rip through the store and had a little more consideration for people that have to fix it, we would be better off!! Ok that’s all.
^^^^this is my previous review which I am changing from 5 to 1 which goes to show that I was being optimistic previously. I could not be more disgusted with the very inadequate, rude and disrespectful staff and the way they handle customers. I was argued with yelled at and talked about while I’m standing there. All I wanted to do was buy one get one like the sign clearly stated. I was yelled at and told there was no such sign and if there was it was in the wrong place. Which I will add a picture to show. Asked for a manager who at first I thought was a nice gentleman and very helpful now I realize that he is unprofessional and incapable of his job. Not the man I mentioned in my previous review but the now so called manager. They don’t do returns even if it is their fault and you are still at the store. It’s really unbelievable this place is still open.

I went in this am to return two items for a refund. It took two staff members to try to get me either a refund on my card or cash and neither could, even after calling their manager. I had to walk out with my original items. Not at all appropriate for a large chain like them to not be able to refund me. Will not be visiting their store again.

Clean and friendly but the bathroom was out of order
