Dollar General on Oakdale is GHETTO. They close before the close time. Who does this? If you close at 9, why do you close the doors way before then?? Got there on more than 1 occasion at 8:45 and they were already closed with with silver night door pulled up.

One guy who "works" there is always either outside smoking or talking/distracting the lone cashier they have. Never seen him do anything productive. Kinda looks like Deon Cole on crack.

I visit this location as it's my local and most convenient store to access many household needs. On todays visit I had a not so common method of payment that ultimately was unsuccessful and that was fine as it was my first attempt using the card so anything out if my control I couldn't be upset about, it wasn't until the cashier was extremely rude and insensitive of the situation considering MY TRANSACTION is failing so I may have more of a reason for the attitude she was presenting to myself and other customers BLATANTLY!!! My partner and I still doubled back to purchase the one item we didn't mind making a alternate method of payment for, where upon return the cashier still continued to be smart due to the previous situation of declined payment. To avoid any animosity building between myself and the cashier I will be commuting further to another store for my household shopping as it's obvious she lacks customer service and care for position she will continue to provide rude services while texting. I hate the disappointment of today's mild incident resulting to end my passion for shopping with the company.

This particular location doesn’t have free/open Wi-Fi unlike most other locations. The employees are always friendly though.

Dollar General has been upgraded they now have a huge selection of food and items. There is more fresh foods and refrigerated items. This Dollar General is well stocked and maintained. Staff were welcoming and I had no problem finding the items I needed. Very pleased with my experience here at this Dollar General.

It wasn't a pleasure dealing with the untrained, unprofessional, rude, sarcastic and ignorant employee Stephanie. I asked her to please check the price for an item I had, she replied, "whatever it was over there". After she moaned and groaned she finally told me. I asked her to put the sodas in a bag, again she moaned and groaned. The price for the sodas was different from the advertised price. When I let her know, she quickly told me they don't honor the weekly ad. I asked for the number to reach the district manage. Stephanie repeatedly said she didn't care if I contacted him, but she gave me the wrong number. So I had to go back to get the correct number. Trista wasn't really any better. She quickly gave me my receipt and didn't bother to thank me.
