It's pretty bad. It's nearby and I go there for lower prices on laundry and cleaning supplies. But some of the staff are shockers. I've had to wait to check out while an employee took bites of her sandwich in full view of register. Once the plastic bags kept breaking and my items fell on the floor. I got home and realized some items I paid for were left there. Self check out usually does not work.

I was there two days ago and I really left there frustrated because of the staff who have a bad attitude just by the look they give you when you enter you already feel afraid to ask something just a product that you can't find... but I see that I'm not the only one who has had a bad time here... I agree with all the bad comments about the attitude of the staff in this place... I wish the owner would realize that he loses customers for this reason because they don't make them want to come back... and I hope someone comes and puts them in their place... and I say the same thing if you don't like working there and dealing with clients then you're already late, get out….

The employees have major attitude problems. Why do they work here if they don't like working with people. I hate coming here because of the employees attitudes.
I would love to see some new employees here with better attitudes.

Worst customer service ever will not be going back to the dollar general on westinghouse. Was asking questions about their coupon policy and cashier said she didn't have time for that and walked away. Will also be calling corporate office.

Walking in the cashier told me cash only. As i walking out she was talking trash about how people cant read and they need a bigger sign. They put the sign on the automatic door. You know the one that opens quickly when you get close. Great place to put a sign and then get annoyed by your own stupidity. Can you hire some more aggressively apathetic people?

At least 3 people in the store with a line of 10 people but only 1 register was open. I asked where the earplugs were and the presumed manager just screamed from the back. I never found them.

Really disappointed! Doors are closed by 9:40pm and it’s supposed to be open until 10pm on a Friday night!
Walmart will do it. Not coming back here.

I planned my day to go to Dollar General for items I could have gotten at the Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Harris Teeter, Publix in other words I passed all those stores to check out Dollar General. Well today February 27, 2024, helped me to see a couple of things workers are not in touch with customers they could care less if you found everything you need, never asked and the attitude I experienced was like don't speak to me I was totally shocked. As I approached to check out not a soul was ready to check me out. Finally after several I asked if someone come come check me out. The person came ringed my purchases and walked away. No thank you! No have a nice day! Nothing as if I don't care if you got what you needed or came for. they need undercover boss to come check it out. My receipt is not legible so I cannot send my review to the Main Office. I would like a request. The store I visited is on Westinghouse, in Charlotte North Carolina. I wish I could show you my receipt.

This is the closet dollar general to my residence and each visit I am disappointed. There is a young lady with braids who work the cash register that is the RUDEST. There has been many instances where she has argued with me, made smart remarks and stood in front of me as I'm ringing up items to make seem I am stealing. This location has went from not having any items in the store to finally been stocked but one thing that remains the same is this unprofessionalism of there workers.
