Kayla was so so nice. She helped me and didn't act like I was bothering her. She even said, nice to meet you. The room was very clean. I will recommend this Embassy because of Kayla and this good experience.

We stayed at Embassy Suites during our recent trip to Carowinds, and it was fantastic! The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious and spotless rooms, and the kids had a blast in the pool. The complimentary breakfast was top-notch, with everything from fresh, made-to-order omelets to a variety of other tasty options. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and incredibly helpful, making our stay even better. The only minor drawback was the timeshare salesperson in the breakfast area, who was trying to sign people up for presentations. Thankfully, I was on the phone when she approached, so I managed to wrap up my breakfast with the kids before she returned. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Food and drinks: The bar was out of a lot of liquor as well as olives or olive juice. Ordered 4 cocktails and they couldn't make one. The bartender say this happens a lot...

First impression, I checked in on line and went right to my room with my luggage intending to use the door app...it didn't work
So I had to shlep back downstairs with my luggage to get a key which because of a line and "slow computers" took about 10 minutes. So I was willing to give the door lock app not working a pass, and maybe even the bathroom smelling like sewer gas because when you flush the toilet it sucks the water out of the p-trap in the sink allowing sewer gas to permeate the room.
I was going to give these a pass because they have a bar and brick oven pizza joint on premise. So the second day I go down and the bar is crowded so I figure I'll sit in the restaurant and order a pizza and beer. BUT NO. They don't serve beer in the restaurant WHAT? Oh YOU can walk over to the bar and get a beer and bring it back. So I sit here with my ice water waiting on my pizza while I listen to the kitchen banter with my waitress "that can't get me a beer" when she comes over and asks me if I'm finding everything okay? What? Is she asking do I find the water to my liking? No it's not... I just worked my... off and can't have a beer with my dinner unless I get it myself. So the pizza arrives and it's not very impressive or tasty. The utensils are a half step up from a spork, (Waffle House has better quality). Finally she brings me the check but hasn't once refiledl my water. Very disappointing.
Wait it's not over... 6th floor 9 :15pm screaming and banging up and down the hallway. Early in my career I've stayed at motel 6's that had teens celebrating their graduation that had less noise in this. Can't wait for this job to be over.
Rooms: Smell of sewer.
Noteworthy details: Lousy parking.

My 4th time at this particular embassy suites. Nice hotel but policies are not aligned to other Embassy Suites. The evening reception is very limited and used to be better. I get the 2 alcoholic drink limit based on NC law but can not understand why they have a limit on non-alcoholic drinks. Most embassy suites have a soda machine available to guests/kids during the evening reception and I have never had a bartender in my 100+ stays at embassy suites consider a non-alcoholic drink as one of my 2 drinks. If the limit is based on the NC law, why are you limiting non-alcoholic drinks during the evening reception? Lost a customer over something that cost next to nothing. Will pick one of the other Embassy Suites next time I'm in Charlotte.

This is the second time here for me, years apart. This hotel is one of the best I have stayed! The rooms are clean and stocked; The breakfast is great with plenty to choose from; And the staff was really helpful and pleasant. Carolina and other kitchen staff were very friendly. Keisha, one of the managers, was also very pleasant. She came by to ask how my accommodations were while I was at breakfast. Definitely would recommend and I definitely will stay again!

Great place to stay for a sales meeting or any other related obligations. Parking is definitely tight but the on-site bar makes up for it.

Absolutely love this hotel and staff. It's been a while since I was an overnight guest here, but I have no doubt it's still amazing. I love the manager's happy hour. I know it's simple, but it does get all of the guests out mingling. Can't beat the made to order breakfast.
Major downside for me is that they don't offer a shuttle option to the airport. While I know transportation options exist, this is a big downside when planning events that include out of turn guests. Despite my negative comments, I highly recommend this hotel. Just make note of its few downsides.
As for event space and options, this is a great venue. Convenient. Lots of evening options within walking distance. Not a fan of the tables and table covers. They look really cheap and are really annoying to move a laptop on. I much prefer standard banquet tables. The food is great and the staff is awesome. Wi-Fi connectivity in meeting rooms is great. Another huge downside is the bathroom distance to the rooms. They're quite a hike from most of the meeting rooms. So, plan ahead. Independent thermostat in the room which is really nice. A little bit on the pricey side for the sodas compared to other meeting options. Overall, great meeting experience though.
Nearby activities: Plenty of adult activities/restaurants in walking distance - bars, restaurants, bowling, movies, pool tables, YMCA, sushi, convenience store. A lot in walking distance. Even more just a short drive away.
Safety: I have been here many times alone as a single woman and have always felt safe. Parking lot is well lit. The area surrounding the hotel is safe.
Walkability: Tons of stuff to do within walking distance.
Food and drinks: On site food and drinks are great. Typical of hotels, it's a little pricey. But it's pretty good hotel food. If that's not your thing, there are many restaurants and bars within walking distance.

We feel so fortunate to have met Louanda from your front desk staff. She is the consummate professional in her work as well as a wonderful inspiration. We had a “major” billing problem, or so we thought until Lou calmly and professionally showed us the error in our thinking. We also had the opportunity to see her dealing with a very distressed and sobbing customer. Lou calmed her with compassion and genuine interest in comforting her. You rarely find employees like Lou. She is to be treasured and appreciated!

We had to evacuate from our home after Helena and we stayed at the Embassy Suites in Ayrsley. To our great pleasure we were greeted by Julia Burgess at the front desk. Her attitude and compassion were infectious. We have stayed at many Embassy Suites and have never met anyone as positive and understanding as Julia. It is so refreshing in this day and age to meet someone who has the work ethic and true interest in pleasing and providing for the guests in her charge. Her positive attitude is unparalleled. Thank you Julia for making a very stressful situation a delight!
