Jeff and Jessica at Expansive Uptown are fantastic! They’re always friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to make sure everything is taken care of. The space itself is perfect—great location, awesome amenities, and a welcoming vibe. Couldn’t ask for better property managers or a better place to work. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a professional and enjoyable office environment in Charlotte!

This office space was the perfect transition I needed as I am opening multiple locations. Jessica made the entire process easy and comfortable and she is super responsive anytime a question arises. The kitchen amenities are wonderful (especially the coffee machine), and the break room furniture is comfortable, sensible, and attractive. Most significant of all, Jessica makes us feel very welcome. She is great about Expansive updates and timely communication, and she’s always present, tuned in, and available to help.

The office manager, Jessica, is very professional and friendly. The common areas are always clean and well kept. She does an excellent job coordinating and hosting holiday/spontaneous events for all the clients to enjoy.

I rented a conference room for the day for a meeting I had while in Charlotte and loved how easy the rental process was. My client and myself both commented on how mondern, clean and professional the space was. Jessica at the front desk helped me with all my questions and made everything so easy. After about a year of Working From Home, I did diligence on a few options in Uptown, glad I made to choice to try Expansive. The staff (especially Jessica) are completely professional and always respond quickly to any requests. The location is convenient to Trade & Tryon, Latta Arcade, Romare Bearden Park, Truist Field, etc. The building is secure, clean, and has ample parking close by. Fellow Expansive Community members are friendly and respectful. Would easily recommend for anyone needing a flex space to supplement WFH, any entrepreneurs, and all small business owners that want a collaborative space with private options.

I have now been a tenant of Novel Coworking for a few years and I can honestly say, I have no intention of leaving until God see’s fit to bless me with my own commercial building and even then I may still keep an office in Novel. From the moment I moved in Kendall and Jessica made me feel like I was joining a family. Jessica goes above and beyond to hear us, help us, celebrate us and accommodate us in any and every way possible. Not only is the staff amazing, but being in a building with so many amazing business professionals has been a Godsend. I’ve had the opportunity to work with, befriend and collaborate with many of my colleagues and it really feels like a family. We hang out both in the building and outside of the building, celebrate each other’s accomplishments, consult with one another when we’re struggling with a business issue and utilize each other’s services whenever possible. At the beginning/height of the pandemic shut downs, Jessica went above and beyond to ensure that we had every resource available to us regarding funds and programs available for small businesses and Novel was flexible and supportive in helping its tenants remain in the building. Many businesses didn’t make it because their landlords were either unable or unwilling to work with them, but Novel supported its tenants and worked with us to weather the storm. Because of that, my company is still here. Novel is more than just an office space to me, it’s a second home. If you’re looking for a space, consider Novel. You won’t regret it. :-)

"To seem rather than to be" might be the operational goal here. Especially since it was "Novel" and is now "Expansive."Three stars may be a wee bit generous. Location is good, however I'd work from home, if all things were equal. Maintenance is best described as sub-par. Restroom traps dry out and stink. HVAC in my office is sub marginal. Elevators have been broken for several days this week negating the possibility of those that need it. Elevator codes are required during early business hours due to the inability to align the security code requirement with working hours. The motion detector on the exit doors are often inoperable requiring one to hunt for the release button. The clincher is dogs are not allowed.Okay, there IS a really nice coffee machine, which is sometimes fully functional.It could be so much better.
