My appointment was on 12/4/23 and ins company paid eye care center on 12/15. I had overpaid and was owed a refund. I called billing support on 1/26/24 and was told that I'd have a refund on my card within 7 business days. I called again today (2/22/24) and was told that a request to process the refund would be sent to the university city location again and that I should have a refund within 6-8 weeks. This review will be modified once I have received my money that eyecarecenter has been holding since 12/15/23.The company has been completely inattentive to this. I'm going to figure out what state government agency to report this to.

The staff is nice enough, but they refused to give me my contact prescription numbers unless I paid for a $190 class to have them teach me how to put them in. I declined the class and asked around to see if this is the norm for getting your prescription numbers and it is not (I was not even trying to get the actual contact product from this store). Now I have to pay for another copay and appointment somewhere else when this should have been part of my annual vision check. I won’t be back.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The doctor was attentive and answered all of my questions. It was a very good experience.

The front desk Lady was very rude, and I had to wait more than 40 mins for the doctor. The doctor didn't even apologize for the delay. Never going back

The office staff and Dr. Washington were very helpful. I felt bad because I initially showed up late but they were able to still get me in to see the doctor.They explained what I should expect during the exam and what my insurance would cover.I also went in to be fitted for contacts for the first time ever and they explained my best options on what to purchase. I also had no idea about classes for inserting contacts! Glad this training is available.

3 stars bc Dr Washington is an awesome Dr. Who she chooses to employ around her should change. The front desk ladies always seem to have an attitude and the new guy Carlos has zero personality or manners. They also like to make you think you need imaging done, but they fail to tell you that it's not covered by your insurance so you have to pay out of pocket. That to me is sneaky and uncalled for.

Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, answered questions/concerns. Glad that I went there. Unlike the last eye exam and subsequent prescription, I filled this prescription and ordered new glasses. Thank you.

3 stars bc Dr Washington is an awesome Dr. Who she chooses to employ around her should change. The front desk ladies always seem to have an attitude and the new guy Carlos has zero personality or manners. Dr Washington is as always wonderful.! Front Desk staff was also Wonderful! The Male assistant was horrible. I was brushed off when asked questions and told mis information concerning test he was doing. This was not the first time assistants treated me badly.

Rude customer service rep. “Bye bye” that’s absolutely horrid and not recommended coming from a sales manager myself. Asking simple questions deserve hospitable responses. You talk to your mom like that? The man today over the phone is why you won’t be seeing me come next month. Friday @ 10:00am on 3/2/23. Teach your employees how to answer questions properly and teach them how to talk to people. I am not incompetent or read at high school level.
