The worst Family Dollar in Charlotte. The shelves are never stocked. The Employees are extremely rude and are pleased with doing as little as possible to help costumers. The manager has no regard for what goes on in the store. I see exactly why the turn overrate is so high here. Customer and employee appreciation goes along way and there isn’t any.

I would seriously like to know why EVERYTIME I come into this establishment and get to the register, my items cost more then what it's sticker price states.Just left Little Rock Rd location & I left everything on the counter. Jeremy the manager claims & I quote. It is what it is. Nothing he can do about it. Let me tell you what you can do about it. Change the dam signs. How bout that. If the sign says $2.65 that's what I'm expecting to pay. Not $4.00You folks need to get it together!

Supposed to be open at 8 am, went at 8:40 door was locked. Man yelled from the car that it opens at 9am. Change your sign and update the hours online if this is the case.

My brother visits this store frequently. He parked in the Food lion parking lot which is next to family dollar. When he was leaving out. He saw his female friend and stopped to chat. Well, the manager comes out and approach my brother and tells him he’s soliciting and will call the police. This is why black man have it hard. What could’ve happened when he called the police? God knows. If it would’ve been anyone else of another race. He wouldn’t have done this. If I could give zero stars. I would have. My brother has a good job and works hard. He frequent this store due to his route from his job. This is ridiculous and uncalled for. For the manager, it’s not your job to patrol the food lion’s parking lot. Was it because you had interest in this young lady and got mad. To be a black man yourself. It’s a shame on you.

The store was in disarray and I had a hard time finding what I was looking for. The young lady stocking the aisle didnt even acknowledge me when I asked. Finally when I made it to the register the lady checking me out threw the receipt down and mumbled "have a good day." I will definitely be going to a different location.

IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO I DEFINITELY WOULD! I love family dollar all my essential needs you guys have for me but however on May 1, 2020 I experienced the most unprofessional service EVER and IM UPSET..STILL. I entered to shop as usual at 3:00 pm midday only to be asked to leave rudely BY THE MANAGER because he had to make a bank run for a deposit I assume. I'm a reasonable person so I understand it was simply the WAY he said it. It went a little something like this. "Ma'am can you please leave the store so that I can make a bank run? Everyone else has left expect you." Need I mind you I had no idea that MIDDAY any store in America had to close down completely for a bank run. So I responded with 5+ items in my hands "WHAT??" ( as in I'm confused). So the MANAGER storms out only to be even more rude by saying " damn no cooperation and asked the other employee at the register to lock the door after I left since I was being difficult." ...He leaves for the bank and now its only me, I take it, and the register employee ..Ok so by now I'm heated and I immediately throw my 5+ items into a nearby buggy and leave. Before I left I asked the register employee why would you guys not announce over speaker that we will be closing temporarily so for you convenience blah blah blah, he responded "ma'am we don't have a speaker in the store" and he proceeded to apologize for his manager. I told him he can't be accountable for other people's actions. He was great I should have gotten his name. I hope HR or someone of higher authority sees my post and disciplines this MANAGER. He is rude disrespectful and very unprofessional. Location: Little Rock rd in Charlotte NC , time 3:00pm. WHOEVER WORKED THAT SHIFT AS A MANAGER NEEDS TO BE RETRAINED AND GRATEFUL TO STILL HAVE A JOB IN THESE HARD TIMES AND UNDERSTAND RUDENESS IS NEVER OK. I won't be returning to that location ever again in my life that's to that horrible experience.
