Customer service was lacking from Erick who is the store manager. I had documents to print which were black & white & he charged me for color which made no sense. After waiting for 30 mins or so, he said the machine wasn’t working to pay which was time wasted as I needed the docs asap. I left & came back the next day to pay. I gave him 2 stars instead of 0 stars because I received 20% off for the time I wasted the day before.

This review is for FedEx. Charlotte- if I could put a zero I would.
I have used FedEx ground a number of times, companies mailing me things. I will warn- use USPS they give honest updates and don’t lie!
For some reason sending from out of state& when it reaches Charlotte, it gets moved around there and goes into an MIA! It’s very frustrating avoid it!! The Postal Service has done a wonderful job for me!!

DO NOT get your packages sent here. I had an item delivered here for pick up. The tracking showed that it was signed for and delivered to the FedEx Office Print & Ship Center, S Tryon location. Next, I go to retrieve my item from FEDEX and the Employee Benny begins to looks for it, then comes back to tell me that the package never made it to the store aka it’s been stolen by the delivery driver. He gives me the FedEx Customer Service number, I then file a claim and the case is closed within 48hrs because the driver marked it as delivered, even though the FedEx Employee knows the package was stolen. Furthermore, I was told by FedEx Customer service to contact the shipper but the shipper refused to give a refund because the Thief Delivery driver marked the package as delivered. I don’t know what they have going on here, but stay away from this location.

The customer service agent(Eric) was not friendly or helpful, also he did not apply my company discount. I told him that i was declaring my items were worth 500$, he only declared 300$. I was sending Christmas presents to my grandchildren and they still had price tags on them, i asked the sales associate could i use his scissors to cut the tags off, he said he was not allowed to do that. I asked him if he could cut the tags off for me, he said he could not do that. Once all my items were packed in the box, i realized i needed to tape the box, i asked the sales associate if i could use his tape gun, he said no, i asked him if he could tape the box for me he said no. He did not offer me the lowest rate for shipping. This particular fedex location is located in a Walmart shopping center. I went to the Walmart customer service counter and asked them if i could use a pair of scissors and their tape gun, they allowed me to use it without any issue. Ive been a consistent customer with fedex for years and i can say I've NEVER had such a distasteful experience in all the years like the experience i had today 12/19/23. This was the worst experience ive ever had.

I didn't need complicated services, but I still thought the employee who helped me was kind, efficient and competent. I had a package to ship, for which I had a shipping label, but it was in my email and I had also copied it onto a flash drive. The employee kindly printed out the shipping label from his computer for free so that I didn't have to find a printer in advance. He said that I could also email the label to him, but there's sometimes a lag with email, so much easier to print from a flash drive (hot tip - bring your label on a flash drive!). I went on a Tuesday morning, so there was only one person in line in front of me and she was just finishing up as I came up. All in all, I had a great experience and would highly recommend this location, especially those who need to ship things with a prepaid shipping label in electronic format. The store is small but looked like it was fully stocked with shipping materials behind the counter and a single computer station for printing services. The store is on the immediate left hand side of Walmart as you enter from the "Grocery" entrance of Walmart - the entrance closest to Publix.

Horrible customer service by Terry and Erick at this location. They messed up the dimensions of simple passport photos and initially refused to fix it. After requesting again, they retook the photos and it came out ok.

I have never sent a fax in my life but I had to today and Harold, who had to be nearly half my age, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and helped me send the fax quickly and easily. I would recommend this location to anyone working in uptown because it is conveniently located and exceptional customer service.

Stopped in to send something work related. I don't usually do the mailings for our office, but with the Covid environment things are a little different than normal. I wasn't sure if I needed to create a mailing label or if they could do it for me, so I went in prepared to ask for assistance. There were three employees in the store who were all preoccupied doing other things, and no one greeted me when I walked in interestingly. Someone finally walked over and asked how she could help me after they finished discussing whatever they were talking about, and I guess she didn't see the envelope in my hand, so I told her I needed to mail a package. She had such a bad attitude unnecessarily, that was really offputting. She caught me off guard when she asked for my ID because when I normally stop in I'm just dropping things off and obviously no ID is required for that. She seemed annoyed that I asked why it was needed, which is funny since you work there and it's kind of your job to answer questions. She was not very friendly, was borderline rolling her eyes and everything else you can think of. It was very uncalled for. I tried not to reciprocate but that was not easy. I think FedEx needs to do a better job of training their employees in customer service, because whatever issue she had (or maybe she had nothing to be annoyed about at all) it had nothing to do with me - I simply needed help with a mailing. I've been in the store multiple times and have usually not had an issue, but I really do not appreciate her behavior towards me and it motivated me to write a review the minute I left the store.

First time shipping business packages at Fed Ex on 237 S. Tryon Street , great service by Dee (Fed Ex employee). Second time shipping business packages, horrible service by Dee. The same employee who had helped me two weeks earlier. I cannot figure out why this Fed Ex employee had it in for me. Dee had a bad attitude and very abusive tone towards me. She kept asking me "what brings you in today" despite my having two boxes to ship in front of me and stating I need to send these off. She raised her voice and stated " I won't help you until you tell me why you are here!" I asked if I could speak to the manager. She ignored me. The manager saw this and ignored us as well. Everyone in the Fed Ex store was aware of the tension but not one employee or manager did anything. It was agonizing to have to deal with this type of unwarranted abuse. Specially when I was paying hundreds of dollars worth of shipments. I reported this to Fed Ex Corporate but no one did anything. Terrible management and employees.

This location gave horrible service. The employee was so rude when I tried to explain to her what I needed. She started touching my personal affects without my permission and was very intrusive when asking what I was shipping. I then asked for the smallest box they had, she practically threw the box at me; how was I supposed to tape it up? That is why I was there, for shipping assistance; I will not be back.
