If I can give zero stars I would, they specifically sold me a tire type that I told them I did not want. I’m still having the same problem just to take my 800 dollars.. stay away from Firestone period!!!!

Horrible experience. Was new to the area and went there when my clutch went out, and to get it replaced. My transmission was fine when I got there, and now all of a sudden they are saying they found some damage in my transmission and it was already like that. The technician obviously did something wrong and is now trying to cover himself. The store manager is siding with him as well.I can’t believe what I’m going through. Almost three weeks now trying to get my car back. They have been holding my car hostage for all this time because they said we are not letting you leave until you pay us when it was definitely something they did on their end. It has been forcing me to pay Ubers and rental cars. It is absolutely ridiculous. I’m going through a living nightmare 😢Should’ve listen to my brother when he told me not to go to that shop. Only went there because I’m new to the area. Everyone, avoid this place if you can, and if something happens and/or has happened to you there, don’t leave without a fight.

Scammers! Avoid! I went here to get my alignment checked and they said I needed 4 new tyres which of course cost a lot. I went to get an inspection done (somewhere else) 6-7 months later and it failed because the front tyres were completely BALD.
I barely use my car. I had to buy another two tyres to pass the inspection. Not only would they do nothing and have me different excuses but Luke at their head office raised his voice to me like he was arguing with me in the street. (I even kept the tyres to prove it) If you’re a single woman avoid, avoid, AVOID.
I lived in the UK my whole life where it snows, rains and has ice often. Ive never had tyres go bald so fast in my life.
I’ll be going to better business now to report it because how they can get away with this is beyond me.

My car was broken into while I left it overnight at this location. The people at the store, like Jerry, were really nice, but being nice doesn't fix the $3,000+ body damage I now have to pay for. I was told it would have to come out of pocket since Firestone is a "public parking lot." I strongly suggest taking your car to Discount Tire, about 10 minutes away. It's a much better area, and I can assure you that your car won't be broken into there.
To firestone: I was told this is the 46 car within 6 days. Do something about this... you have the funding if not shut down and relocate!
Just an update:
That email they tell you to email is just for show. No one will reply to you no matter how many times you reach out! Great look Firestone!

I am genuinely surprised that there is not a Class Action lawsuit pending against this location/Firestone. If you are reading this, do not drop your vehicle off at this shop. If you have 10 minutes, take some time and read all of the posts below this one and note the consistency across everyone's personal experiences. Additionally, note how AWFUL everyone's personal experiences have been. This forum is your greatest tool so please use to your advantage.
In short, we dropped our vehicle off with a simple issue that required minimal maintenance and money (tire). Issue was fixed and we picked up our vehicle and left. A day later, we realized there was a bigger issue all of a sudden (odd coincidence?) and needed to bring back to shop and leave overnight. And like everyone else, our vehicle was vandalized as someone attempted to break into it. The shop never called nor tried reaching out. In fact, we only found out because we decided to physically go to the shop to get more clarification around the bigger issue. We asked to see video surveillance but that was conveniently not working/storing data properly. And to make matters even worse, we received a phone call from the police officer that evening informing us that Firestone only reported the vandalism on one vehicle (not ours/there were three total) and that he saw our vehicle and filed an additional report for us (very helpful). The officer had an opinion on the Firestone employees as well but I'll leave that off of here.
So now there's an official police report with a date/time stamp on it. I called the following day knowing there would be no resolution but at the VERY LEAST, I wanted accountability and/or an explanation as to why we were not notified about the vandalism. As much as I want to list the name of the employee I dealt with, I will omit for now. But said employee completely fabricated a timeline around when the vandalism occurred in order to justify why they did not reach out to us. Meanwhile, I am staring at the physical police report with time stamp while sitting in silence as this Firestone employee digs himself into a hole. It was sad to see an individual take absolutely no pride in their profession while fabricating the truth to cover up an unfortunate event. And what had me absolutely baffled here is that there were TWO instances between when the police report was filed and when we physically showed up to the shop where we spoke over the phone. And not once was the vandalism mentioned. This locations staff is unprofessional, incompetent, and lacks any accountability.
Ultimately, we won't get anything from them on the vandalism. And I have little to no faith in the customer support that's been replying to these posts as well. The real solution is finding out the contact information of the franchisee as it should be public information and sending them all of these issues in one document. And hopefully from there, they realize this location needs a complete overhaul. We were big fans of the Firestone on park road, which is currently under renovations, so we were forced to go to this location. But after this experience, we will no longer be going to any Firestone shop.

My car was broken into and items were stolen. Luckily the firestone employee left my driver side door unlocked so they didn't break my window like the other cars in the lot. Went the next day and was told by the mechanic that break ins have been ongoing for seven months now. Seems like Firestone is indifferent since they aren't liable to pay for damages. They just put security cameras up but the detective I spoke to said the footage is too grainy to identify the person involved. Wouldn't come back here again even for free service.

Unfortunately it was a horrible experience...there is more to the story but I am trying to make those aware of this location and company so you don't have the same experience I did. My car was dropped off at this the location (9/17/24) on 825 East Arrowood Rd in Charlotte.
My car was broken into " " along with 2 other cars that night in the Firestone lot - with literally everything besides what is bolted down in my car stolen out of it. Firestone had kept my car overnight (it was supposed to have the work done day of - but that didn't happen that's a story for another time).
The following day I talked to 2 different employees multiple times throughout the following day to try to figure out what was happening with my car - at 4pm they finally told me my car had been broken into the night before but they handled it and a police report had been made.
To me personally that was not the answer I wanted to hear to feel good about the situation. When going to get my car they showed me the pile of police officer business cards - each night a break in happens they had a card (on the back of the card was a list of the cars that gotten broken into that night - the card from my night listed “Camry, Terrain, Impala”, they showed me and explained this is how often it happens while fanning out the cards (kind of crazy not only that they shared but also showed me), they took no responsibility because "the car is on public land".
Initially the employees told me it was left unlocked hence why everyone else's windows were smashed and mine wasn't, which is frustrating to hear because when leaving my car in their possession that is their responsibility to lock it. They have everything on video - the locking of my car by me when I left, the recording of the break in - this was said they watched it when they got there after finding glass all over the parking lot and cars visibly broken into, then told me 10 hours after opening).
The location could give me was a police incident report number and that I would need to file through my own insurance (raise my insurance to pay for everything that was stolen out of my car on your watch, with you not locking my car...), no apology, no taking responsibility, they didn’t know the insurance that Firestone held when I asked, they didn't know the regional's name or number, they were not phased at all by the incident, which to each their own but at least do something to help the situation.
I went back the second day to speak to the manager Jerry and same exact response (he did say sorry when I left though…).
I filed a claim through Firestone/Bridgestone and was paired up with John Tumey who is “Bridgestone Retail Operations” - also another employee who without even listening to the full story said I spoke to the location you need to file with your insurance. He then wouldn’t respond via phone, via email, I called claims again - they had to reach back out to him to then answer me, still waiting.... I was hoping to not have to throw this incident out to the public because I have things I would much rather be doing but to have a company take no responsibility and treat a customer or however many customers this way is very unfortunate. I wished I had been able to read a review from a past customer with their car being broken into and I am sure having this same response because I would have never brought my car to that location or truly probably not at all - so here I am trying to help the next person to possibly avoid this location and truly this business overall unfortunately. Do better Firestone.

Update: While Firestone replied on the review below, I have followed up 3 times and have yet to receive ANY response. Wouldn't even recommend the company as a whole. 0 stars if I could.
0/10. Would never recommend. Made an appointment for 1:00 p.m. And received a call shortly thereafter to let me know that my vehicle would not be able to be completed within an hour but would ready by 3:00. I let them know that was fine and proceeded with the appointment which I received a confirmation for. Dropped the vehicle off and was told they wouldn't be getting to it that day. I said that's not acceptable that I had an appointment and I was already told on the phone before I drove over there that it would be done by 3:00. I ubered to a place in the area to have lunch and waited for the call that it was complete. I checked in at 3:00 as I had not heard from them and they said they were trying to get it done and that they would get me an update. I never received an update and I called back at 4:15 when I was told that they were sorry but there was one vehicle in front of mine and then it would be done by 6:00 p.m. I continued to wait in the local area so as not to incur the cost of an additional Uber. Just before 6:00 I booked an Uber which was more expensive due to the time of day and took the Uber back to the shop. When I arrived I saw that my vehicle was sitting in the exact same way that I had parked it outside. I went in and waited in line and was told unfortunately they did not get it done for the day. They knew this before. I would have been taking an Uber there and instead I could have taken an Uber home and had only wasted the 5 hours I waited to get my oil change, but now I had ubered to their location in the pouring rain when my vehicle should have been done by 3:00 as told. I am now going to be driving home after incurring $30 in Uber fees wasting a total of 6 hours of my time and having nothing done to my vehicle. The whole point of making an appointment is that you have a scheduled time to have your vehicle in the shop. In no world should an oil change not be able to be completed in a 6-hour window when there are appointments. Additionally, if you are not going to complete the vehicle, a phone call should have been made which was not. Incredibly poor customer service and incredibly poor follow through. What an ignorant thing to have appointments when you don't keep them.

My car was fully functional when I got to this location, when I went to pick it up it was not driveable. I came in for a simple battery replacement and left with drivetrain issues/ the same battery. I was told they would reimburse me for the tow that they caused but when I tried to collect they refused to honor this deal. Staff is incompetent and management are absolute morons. Godspeed if you give these guys your car!

EDIT: Don’t let comments like below fool you. I emailed and never heard from anyone.
Very disappointed with my service. I had scheduled an appointment for a tire replacement for August 10 and it was confirmed. Day of, I received a call saying the tires I ordered were not available and I needed to reschedule. I should have just canceled looking back. I rescheduled for the following Saturday and was told to drop off at 8AM, which I did. I did not feel comfortable entering this business as a young female. I really wish I had brought my father.
A few hours later I received another call stating they still did not have the tires I needed because the ones suggested online were too small. They could get the tires from another store but my bill was going to increase significantly from original price due to different tire size. I said that was fine (because I had to) and waited for the call my car was done. Again, I should have canceled then.
They never called. I had to call them and ask if my car was ready. It was not, even though it had been there for 10 hours. I had to leave my car overnight, which was extremely inconvenient. The tires are fine and look good so I appreciate that but it was not done it a timely manner.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are a young female. I will not use Firestone again.
