I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent visit to Firestone located at 10731 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210.
On March 23rd, 2025, I scheduled a lifetime wheel alignment at 3pm. I arrived 30 minutes early, but my car was not taken into the shop until over an hour later. My scheduled time was not honored, and the vehicle remained on the lift for an additional 15 minutes without any work being performed. The technician who was assigned to work on my car had previously performed oil changes on another vehicle. When he began working on my car, he only adjusted the right front tire and then proceeded to perform an oil change to another vehicle. Upon returning to my vehicle, he inspected the left wheel from underneath without performing any repairs. He then proceeded to drop the vehicle from the lift, which caused three tries to become off the specification (as indicated by red on the screen).
At the office front desk, I was informed that my car was complete and ready for pickup. However, I was not satisfied with the work that had been done. The wheel alignment was not complete, and the three tires were still off the specifications. I requested to speak with the manager, who identified himself as Oscar. Oscar refused to provide his last name and stated that he was unaware of the technician’s actions. Oscar was extremely arrogant and refused to help me in any way. Oscar mentioned that he used to work for Honda, but he’s not familiar with the brand of my vehicle, which is quite unprofessional. Is it true that Firestone provides comprehensive service to all vehicle brands?
Oscar informed me that I should contact corporate to lodge a complaint and express my concerns about the lack of technicians which one is not a Firestone client’s problem.
Unfortunately, my steering wheel is now misaligned, which is a direct result of the work performed by the technician.
Is my car safe to drive on the road now?

Got a full synthetic oil change at this location and requested the technician install a new skid plate for my wife's vehicle , they agreed that they would do so I thanked them and ask them what the cost would be they said no charge since the vehicle normally comes with a skid plate and that they would normally have to take the skid plate off to drain the oil and reinstall it so they did it as a courtesy but the technician just blatantly did not remove the protective film on the inside of the skid plate which resulted in the film catching fire and burning in between the engine drain pan and the skid plate which caused a sensor to melt as a result, it was a $300 repair that this company refused to compensate us. They are not taking accountability for the actions and reckless abandon of their Careless technician who certainly should not be working on vehicles! Recklessness and substandard shoddy work should be held accountable by the company and the business based on the actions of their technicians and managers. I would like to extend my gratitude to all of those who took the time to read this review. I hope this helps you make a calculated decision on whether to have your vehicle worked on or maintained at this business. God Bless 🙏

Poor initial job of putting on new tire .... that I had to go back in because the tire was never balanced correctly. And then they CHARGED me for this service! Last set of tires I ever buy from Firestone.

I was told at another place that they couldn’t get my tire and I would have to have mismatched tires. But this location in Pineville was able to match the brand and thread type and my car drives like it is on air. Thanks for the peace of mind.

Got what I needed to done but they said it would be done by 3:30 and I'm still sitting here at 4:30 and the hubcaps aren't on. As other reviews have stated this location is not respectful of time.

I called spoke with Mike set an appointment I showed up on time. He addressed the issues I was having took great care and listening to my issues advised me my choices so I told him to proceed and they took good care of me fix my car very professional and friendly. Even other staff members were very friendly. Maleek one of the mechanics took extra time to double check my TPS sensors and so I would highly recommend Pineville Firestone for any of your car care needs?

On January 13th I paid over $900 for a repair relating to a hose on my vehicle. The issue persisted after the repair so I took my car back to the same location on February 6th. I was informed there was an air pocket in the hose line which was caused by the repair completed on January 13th. They fixed the issue, but still charged me a diagnostic fee. Why should I be responsible for the diagnostic fee for an issue related to the same repair? I asked to speak to a manager, but was told nobody was there to assist with my dispute of the charge despite it being 2 pm on a Thursday. Terrible customer service!

Wonderful experience at the Firestone in Pineville, NC!!! Reece was very helpful when I made my reservation and Mike was incredibly helpful as he listened to what I wanted done to my car. He helped me prioritize the recommendations and was very respectful of my time🙂. He explained the charges and was helpful when I needed to use two forms of payment. Everyone was courteous and professional. I HIGHLY recommend this Firestone!! I have been to a few bad ones so I really appreciate the experience I had, today!

I had an appointment for an oil change, and cam 15min early. They didn't even take my car in for over 2 hours, and it took them over 3 hours to give me my keys back.
I reminded them a couple of times during the wait about my car, and they had the standard answer that they are busy, and short staffed, and all. At the end, the guy on the counter said, sorry for the delay and that's the reason I am giving 2 starts, otherwise it should be one star.
I am not here to tell you how to run your business but I can tell you that I am not happy with Firestone overall. Improvements are needed to not waste customers time. 3+ hours for an oil change with appointment is unreasonable.
