Rude and unprofessional employees who apparently don’t care about having new business customers!! They would rather talk and text on their phone while you wait!!

I wish that I could give zero stars because they gave me zero service The female branch manager was extremely rude and unpleasant not allowing me to get my own funds from my own bank when I called the customer service number on the back of the card she then lied to them telling them she thought it was a fraud situation and placed a hold on my account so that I could not access my funds at all allowing my account to be possibly overdrawn. I have never been so disrespected in my life. I'm a person of color trying to remove a large amount of funds off of my account it's considered fraud???? There was no other reason I could have possibly been denied service All of my information was accurate even the customer service representative agreed that I was in the right but they have no control over branches. I wouldn't not recommend banking here and will be continuing to contacting someone about the situation.

All,Trisha Mcduffee AVP - Talent Acquisition Consultant in Raleigh, NC was late for the phone interview. Once she realized that I was of African American descent in other words a black woman, the baiting and switching started for an entry-level floater teller position. All, be careful with all First Citizens Bank a family-controlled bank meaning family, grandchildren, and friends are operating it in a very allegedly hostile environment were making sales and degrading Black Women are all that matters. Black women and minorities have made complaints allegedly about customers brandishing guns at them through the drive-thru window and human resources and managers are aware and do nothing about it to the point that there is a lawsuit going on in South Carolina dated August 2022. I have never seen so many reviews that are so disgusting. Unless you still believe in slave masters, cracking the whip, step into the arena.Trisha Mcduffee is a liar that falls right into their culture of lies and deceit. Honestly, I hope the Plaintiffs win their cases. white dominance needs to be dismantled and it needs to start with all First Citizens Bank.Honestly,Interviewee

I had a wonderful experience opening my account with First Citizens. Everyone working there was inviting and able to answer all of my questions. I am very happy that this bank was recommended to me!

Dont bother banking with them. If you have credits that are pending they will take longer to process through this bank, and if you make credit charges they will often magically go through a day sooner, giving you overdraft fees that they will not take away "because its policy" yea okay, policy to rob people when their chips are low, even though a money credit (more than the charges!!) is literally sitting there pending. Completely robotic, unhelpful staff who will just smile at you while they tell you they cannot help you. Their online system has no regulation whatsoever and you will even see fluctuations on rainy days sometimes. This is a bank that revolves around making money off of your money, regardless of how they have to do it. Take yourself to a credit union and steer clear of these guys. Used to be somewhat convenient when I worked 5 miles from them, but as soon as I changed jobs I quickly saw what they really wanted to happen to me, and boy did it happen hard and often.

I've never had a bank make me want to close an account on the spot like them. A couple of months ago I had to fraudulent charges on my account that caused it to overdraft, I've been called to inform them that the charges were fraudulent, and not to lift it I can't be charged by the same people again. Not only did they let the account get charged again, but then they refuse to work with me on any of the four overdraft fees ($36 a pop). Recently I had to for overdraft fees, one of which was probably my fault although it's a bit of A gray area to me still, but the other Was complete and total BS. Altogether I've had six overdraft fees, and Weber used to work with or fix any of them. They might as well be Wells Fargo.
