Ive been a customer for over 30yrs. This bank was definitely better back in the 90's. Just recently, I had a company take money from my account for an order that was never placed ! I never authorized the order because it was no order . However , founders argued that I've had a past relationships with the company therefore it wouldnt be fraud! One of the craziest explanation I've heard to not help your customer ! So if you've had some type of past relationships that means it's okay to be ripped off!! They refused to assist me , my account accrued over 230 in overdraft fees also they were alerted that this company stole my money and I had proof that I had no order , but they DID NOT CARE!! THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL!! Don't care about their customers and tell you to take it up with the third party because they don't get involved !! Why are you even a bank if you refuse to help when someone is stealing from the customers account?!!! Definitely very poor management and I will be closing all 3 of my accounts because no one deserves to be treated as these people treat their customers !!!!!!

A certified check was written to me by a customer from this bank and I wanted to cash it the same day. They told me that I would have to pay them $8 fee because Im jot a member.If you want me to be a member just ask!If you do a good service then I will probably join but don’t try to force me to it by trying to charge me a fee for something that doesn’t cost you anything since the check was written by the same bank.I never had that issue with any other bank if I wanted to cash a check that was written from the same bank.

Went into the bank with no customers inside. I waited a good 5 minutes without even a look. Not one acknowledgement. Horrible service.

They are very bad. If anything happens to you or your family they will take everything from you and leave you in the dust. They do not care.

After 13 years of being a faithful customer, opening 2 accounts for each of my daughters, and at one time, a business account holder, I closed my account and decided to take my business elsewhere. 4 different employees gave me 4 very different answers when I called to discuss an issue with mobile deposits. Then I had to take even more time - beyond the hour and a half wasted on the phone calls with said employees- to go to a branch office, where I was given yet another answer. So I closed my account and made a call to my daughters, who are now closing theirs' as well. Somewhere along the way Founders seems to have forgotten that it's shareholders and their time matters.

Over a couple of months, I had to file fraud claims on my checking account. They did not want to help me get my money back, and gave me a hard time with the charges even though I had proof that it was not me. After that gave me a few of the last charges back but then closed my debit card to my account and will not reissue debit cards to the account. Saying my debit card has been compromised too many times. HOW IS IT MY FAULT? I would not recommend them to my worst enemy to bank with. Then on top, they charge you for every little overdraft and fee, I lost more money trying to bank with them than I did with any other bank.

I've never done a car loan that easy!!! Just worked with Ryan Garris on buying a new car. He did an OUTSTANDING job!!! Did everything electronically, then just stopped by and picked up the check. Super fast, Super easy. Their aftermarket warranty was over half of what the dealer offered. Would highly recommend working with them and give Ryan a call.

StrThey closed my active account w/o my knowledge because they switched frm visa to master card and I never received a new card. They stated it was b/c I never swiped my card at a store but I would go to the bank to withdraw and deposit money….. I had DD ALSO. I went to Stryon to reopen the acct they only allowed me to open a savings not checking….The 3 Caucasian women I spoke with were very understanding, nice and respectful. They said come back to speak with a manager in a hr. When I came back I dealt with 2 African American females they were very nasty, dismissive and rude. Wouldn’t answer my question rushed me and brushed me off basically. The manager was gone and they said I had to wait 6 months from today to open a checkings….. BAD BUSINESS. I OPENED A NAVY FEDERAL AND STATE EMPLOYEE TODAY…. UNPROFESSIONAL CREDIT UNION DO NOT USE….. DO NOT BANK HERE I WILL PERSONALLY GIVE I A NAVY FEDERAL REFERRAL TO AVOID THIS DISASTER Just email me

Brian Carter is the absolute worst. I called in for assistance with my account and he wasn’t willing to help. It’s ridiculous that the only late payment on my entire credit report in from 2018. I have been on time since throughout the entire pandemic. It’s hindering my credit score and I requested it be removed and he refused. Didn’t even look into it just point blank No. that’s disappointing as I don’t have a poor payment history just one late payment when my autopay was somehow removed 4 years ago. This is insane!

This credit union is the worst at customer service. When you call the call center they can't answer basic questions. They refuse to give out branch location phone numbers. I can't see how they stay in business and how they built all the new locations but wait every time you visit one it's empty, not a lot of business like most of the other credit unions and I see why horrible customer service online and in person 99% of the time. Please give your staff some training and knowledge so they can properly answer questions. Also, give them some professionalism; you don't call a customer dude.

I went to founders Federal Credit Union last Friday wanted open up a savings acct and filed out the application and was never contacted back for approval was going to drop 40,000 into the acct crappy service I'll take my business elsewhere
