I’m leaving a review for Justin (smokestacks) and Walter at the Rockey River Road (9625) location !! I just wanna start off by saying I come here every 2 weeks past midnight cus I get off late at the end of my work weeks to fill up my gas tank . Walter and Justin are mostly there every time I come to the store . Both employees have great customer service skills and I find them to be personable and extremely funny !! They honestly make my night and I look forward to seeing them whenever I fill up my gas tank . I come to gates because the gas is cheaper for me and it’s extremely close to my home so I never have to go far . Justin and Walter always make my little gas trips worth while when I visit you have really great 3rd shift employees and I look forward to my next gas visit . (P.s , they need a pay raise!!!! )

Used to have good service. Yet now, it's sub-par. Lighting at night is bad. I don't recommend. Especially since there's a much nicer Harris Teeter gas station across the street that well lit.

1/4/2025....went in this store. It was a pleasure to stop here and buy a few items. All the staff were friendly & greeted everyone. You could tell the employees were happy with each other & your guest. Taurean checked me out. He was so nice. Pleasant smile & conversation. If I lived in the area, this would be my 'go to' for gas & other items.

The guy who was manning the cash register today actually got pissed when he had to stop eating his lunch and give me a bag for the items I bought. I’m too old to be fighting, but for a split second I was tempted to walk behind the counter and ask him what his problem was. Luckily, I calmed down and reminded myself that one of us had to be the adult. The customer service in that place needs to be upgraded ASAP.

Stopped here for the first time. Customer service sucked. The cashier tried to gip me, so get your receipt!! And they didn't verify my age!!!

Your clerk who empties the trash containers was outside as my wife stepped out the door. He was so polite and kind to her. This location has has some challenges with quality and simply nice cashiers. I do not stop in often but when I have the last couple years it has been poor attitudes. I am a fair guy and don't like negative remarks towards staff. Just making you aware and letting you know that Anthony said to me when I stepped out to thank him for his considerate and kind way was truly appreciated. He said, When I am at work work comes first. If you want to elevate someone I think you would be well served with Anthony. ~ ttjfitch

Half of the credit-card swipers don't work. You have to keep driving to different pumps until you find one that does. Big waste of time.

When you need gas and everything appears on and lit up but the pump will not pump, tried another, same thing. If you are closed, turn off the pumps and lights and maybe have a sign and stop wasting people's time.
