I would like to bring to your attention that the store was scheduled to open at 9:00 am today, Saturday. However, it is now 10:00 am and the store remains closed. As a customer, I have been waiting for over an hour with no sign of anyone arriving to open the store. I believe this situation reflects a level of unprofessionalism that could potentially tarnish the reputation of the business. I would appreciate it if you could kindly address this matter and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. Thank you for your attention.

Inexplicably poor customer service. Today a team member absolutely refused to sell me a 3 dollar protein drink bc I could not provide him with a phone number. This has never happened at any GNC store I have been to except this one. I highly doubt this is GNCs policy.I left, and went down the road to another GNC store on Pineville-Matthews rd where there was no problem at all making a purchase without a phone number. I asked the kind lady whether or not this was GNC policy (required phone number for purchase) and she said, “of course not”. She even gave me a free water after I explained what happened at the other store (super nice).Needless to say, I will not be returning to the Rea rd location again. Luckily, there is another GNC a few minutes away.

**UPDATE: younger man just got here @9:50am to open the store but then put a sign in the window about a bank run. Not only did he open more than an hour late I didn’t stay to find out when the store was actually opened. ** Been here before & had a good visit but I’m here @9:45am on TUESDAY & no one is here & the store is closed even though the sign says 9am-8pm on TUESDAY. 5/25/23

Never have anything in stock and the young man working there is rude and unhelpful. Went there couldn't find what I needed and when I asked about it he told me if I didn't see it go find it and order it online. Didn't even try to help me nor look the item up. 2 stars because the place was clean and it's in a convenient location.

Manager lady will do anything in her power to sign you up for rewards program even after telling her multiple times you just want to pay for your items and not sign up for anything. I physically tried to click decline on the keypad and she knocked my hand away to click accept. Would avoid this location on pure morals.

Visited this store yesterday and was very pleased with the customer service! As soon as I walked in I was greeted immediately by a young man and asked if I needed help. Sadly they didn't have what I needed in stock. Cathy went out of her way to call around to see if another store had it which they did. She was very knowledgeable and super sweet. Ill definitely be coming to this store from now on for my GNC needs. Thanks a bunch!

I have been a customer at GNC for 20 plus years and have been patronizing the Stonecrest store. Ms. Cathy is so amazing. Her positive attitude towards customers and her willingness to go the extra yard to help. If her store doesn't have an item, she will call around to see if other stores have it. Great customer service is hard to find these days so I will continue to support this store and GNC.

I only come here for product availability close by. That's it.I know exactly what I want when I come so I can't say if the sales associates are knowledgeable, but they are friendly when I check out.My only grievance is the smell. It's a heavy perfume that lingers long after you've left, very of putting. Worse than Hollister and Abercrombie.I bought snacks tonight hoping to travel with them but I'm afraid they will cause my bag to smell. I smell like the store still.If you are the store reading this, please stop. Ask other customer's opinions. I'm sure I'm not alone. My protein bars shouldn't smell like musky flowers.

To all planning to do business here, be very weary, especially when three particular employees work here. These three employees (please keep reading for explanation) intended to keep my money after I made a return. I came into this location November 21, 2021 to return two, new unopened powered tubs totaling $67. The caucasian and african american, young adults were working the store and were processing the return at the register. After I put the tubs back on the shelves I was prompted to insert my card. Everything looked to be going correctly, but I did not receive a receipt back for the return. Although, seeing as it looked like my money was returned to my card, I left the store. Three days go by now and I still don't see the money returned to my card, using my banking app, so I call the store and the white, young male answers to tell me it can take up to 5 days. Now 5 days have gone by and still no money has been returned so I call again. This time the black young male answers and says it will actually take up to 7 days. 7 days have gone by now and again still no money back. I call a third time and it is an older black lady that answers, who tells me that it will actually take up to 10 days and at this point the store can do nothing about it. I wait 11 days to check again to see still no money returned. I call customer support, who tells me they can't do anything either and since this was an in-store transaction, the store will have to take care of it. At this point I can see that no one wants to help and my money was stolen, even though the store had their product returned. It took my bank to intervene and provide the funds back to me through provisional credit. This store, and these three employees, attempted to keep my money and would have succeeded if my bank didn't help. Let this be a warning to anyone who does business here. To these employees, no evil deed goes unpunished.

BE AWARE!!! An older lady, named Kathy is the manager of this store. Yesterday, she offered me to work with my expired points on the rewards program (Which is free). Before she took over my purchase, I clearly said to her that I do not want to be enrolled in any membership... Well, she started to type in the cashier, she told me she will help with some discounts, etc., from a total of $150 (Aprox), after she did some adjustments the final bill was about $107 or so. When I was about to paid, she saw my card and mentioned that only the ppl who has money has the contactless thingy in their cards. (What?!) I paid and then she started to offered and showed me other products, I did not want to buy more items that day, so we came back to the cashier station and she asked me to swipe my card again... I asked if the previous transaction did not get thru, and she did not responded. (My bad!) Meanwhile, I was in my phone activating the free rewards program and she told me that the app offers more coupons and I must download it. (I did not do it). She said me that I was a VIP customer, blah, blah, blah... I said thanks for your help and left with tons of points, a $10 coupon, and the feeling that something was not right but I had to go. Well, later on I realized that she DID enroll me on a PRO membership for $39.99 less a discount she managed on my ticket. She discounted the other items so I did not notice she added the membership there! She folded the ticket before she gave it to me. But that is not all, I got an email about my AUTOMATIC Pro membership RENEWAL for $39.99!!! Two young employees were there, apparently they did not know about what was happening. I called the VIP pro membership number, they apologized and cancelled the automatic renewal. The lady told me to expect a refund which until today the charges for the membership she enrolled me in an unethical and dishonest way were not retuned on my bank. But they do not even care about this unethical practices. Look online... it is a common thing and nobody does anything to fix it. Yes, I went back today to the store again and she was not there, I got my money back from one of the employees there. Shame on you lady! People be aware please! It is not about the 40 dlls, it is about honesty, respect, ethics...

I am done with g n c! They are so greedy. And they have gotten even worse! So I just I was about to pay for my current purchase after I took the salesperson up on her up sell. So I tried to use my loyalty points, because I knew that I had enough for a $10 reward. She claims that I didn't. I even had her check it, and she stuck to her story. So I pay for my purchase and look at my receipt. My point balance was 353. My current purchase was 36 points, meaning that my prior balance was 317 points, more than enough for a $10 reward. So either she flat-out lied to me, or is incompetent. Either way, the next time I visit GNC will be to use my $10 reward. And after that, I will probably never set foot in their store ever again!
