I’ve had three (invade your privacy) shoppers cards, and none of them work. I moved here two months ago and can’t check out at the grocery store without calling a manager over every single time.
No one can solve the problem apparently. Today I was told to call the 800 number.
I’m not interested in spending any more of my time …even spent a half an hour online, trying to register my card after the second failed attempt… trying to buy eggs at a Harris Teeter. Very, very disappointing. Enough to make me not want to shop here.

Here’s what I’ve gotten from this HT:
- Listeria from the Deli without a call back from the manager despite leaving my phone number
- Pan Handlers right in front of two security guards just chatting
- Said security guards parking their cars directly in front of the entrance so that it’s difficult to walk in and out.
Overall, this is one of the worst Harris Teeters I’ve been to which is a shame considering it’s in Dilworth. You’d think it would be better. Consider going elsewhere!

We LOVE HT and have shopped here for decades... We love the deli, hot bar and fresh food options and our child loves the free cookie amongst other things. I didn't give 5 stars because the new sandwich staff are NOT friendly. They absolutely ruin the mood and culture of HT, especially the pregnant girl that makes subs. Also they run out of bread almost every day around 6 PM! They ALL need better training. The managers are great but the deli/sub staff are NOT.

Maybe the most bourgeois HT in Charlotte. Has a pizza vendor, Starbucks, and an Asian food bar. Also, a stand for ordering fresh cannolis.

Stop by for two specific items that I received rain checks for two weeks ago. Those items still were out of stock. However, I did pick up a few items that were needed and a couple items on sale.

I’ve been going to this location for a long time. The checkout crews have gotten worse and worse over the years. Unfriendly (a few exceptions), rough with your groceries, generally unpleasant. Tonight I decided to stop shopping here after one of the crew was tossing my food down the register area like it’s not crazy expensive. Said nothing as they stuffed the recite into my hand. They are either not paying them right or not managing correctly.

What happened to this Harris Teeter? Twice this week the employees were rude and condescending. At the customer service desk, the employee repeatedly kept rolling her eyes about to me to another employee and kept saying to me ‘I really don’t care. I’ll just refund it’ in an obnoxious tone. At the cash register, the employee told me ‘I have no way of confirming if that item is on sale like you said’. Really though? You can’t ask another employee to check the price? If I wanted such terrible service, I would just go to Food Lion.
Note: The only good thing about this HT is Marnita at the sub station. She makes the BEST subs!!! I always ask for Marnita.
