I’ve had three (invade your privacy) shoppers cards, and none of them work. I moved here two months ago and can’t check out at the grocery store without calling a manager over every single time.
No one can solve the problem apparently. Today I was told to call the 800 number.
I’m not interested in spending any more of my time …even spent another half an hour online trying to register my card (per one manager) and visited multiple locations…simply trying to buy eggs at a Harris Teeter. Very, very disappointing. Enough to make me not want to shop here.

Purchased a money order from this store, then a couple of days later, a fraudulent money order and another purchased was charged to my debit card, fortunately, my bank caught it before the charges could go through.

This Harris Teeter is decent, clean, friendly staff but the cupcakes in the bakery had a "packed on" date of November and it's February. Perhaps I just expect more because I usually shop at the enormous HT location on 16 near Mountain Island Lake.

Harris Teeter South Blvd. Went in at 630p for the hot bar and salad bar which is supposed to be set up until 7p. Both had been pulled up.

Overall , this HT is great. Love the hot bar and it’s pretty clean and tidy everytime we’re in here but the guy at the omelette station sucks. Always outside smoking and the hours are 8am to 12pm. It’s written on a tv and the gentlemen was laughing and carrying on with security guard one time and told us the station didn’t open until 11am and it was 10:30am. The omelet is great, that’s why we return but he is not the most professional and we are here on a twice a week basis.

Can’t get anyone to check me out. I’m not doing self check out. I’ll order online. Point of sale is the most important part of business. Self checkout is for people in a hurry with a few items. Not a way so corporate America can make more money by cutting labor.

Lots of expired food. Be careful the staff just leave it out there. I pointed out that some meat was more than a week past sell by date and the guy just put it back and ignored me.

Okay- I understand the reasoning behind employees restocking and store remodeling at night when it’s less busy.
Well I was just in there (Tuesday night around 10pm). Every single employee on this Teeter’s payroll must have been working. I could barely navigate the aisles, and at one point, a group of 3 employees were just talking in the middle of an aisle. One of them then clearly invaded my personal space trying to get by with a big cart, of course right where I’m trying to look, and she didn’t say excuse me or anything.
Then I get to the aisles in the back, like the frozen foods and personal hygiene products. To go down the frozen aisles, there were so many stocking carts and employees, customers had to go single-file down the aisle. Same goes for the milk section behind it.
I didn’t even try to get to the last aisle, as you would’ve thought by the look on employees’ faces I was committing a serious crime by trying to. Meanwhile, right beside there, you have a whole personal hygiene section remodel going on with even more rude employees taking up literally ALL the space!!
This Teeter needs to understand that 1) your store is in a very populated part of town. People will be shopping until closing 2) customers walking in this mess were dropping items and knocking over items that were to be stocked. What this store is doing is a HAZARD!! What if there was an emergency and everyone had to evacuate? Good luck trying to in what I just experienced.
3) maybe ask your employees to not be rude to customers
Oh and I can’t forget to mention, they close off one of the entrances at night, and there were 2 homeless men hanging out staring right by the entrance you had to use. No security guard in site of course. Speaking for all women, we would appreciate if you take our safety and if we feel comfortable shopping in your store into consideration.
I never have a pleasant experience with this Teeter, which is why I shop at the East Blvd location or Publix. It’s an anxiety-inducing madhouse. Do better!!

Great selection of items. Staff is polite. Cleanliness could be better.

Bougie and busy, this HT is the embodiment of Charlotte's gentrification. But it's really busy.

I mean…it’s Harris Teeter, good food, prices are kinda high compared to other places, people are nice. Besides the homeless people at the entrance haggling you for money it’s fine. A normal Charlotte grocery story.

The rude guy (Eli) in the deli should not be working at Harris Teeter, this is his second time being extremely rude towards me, he stated, "I'm not running back and forth to make sandwiches", I just want to know how is this type of behavior accepted in a establishment who built there brand off of customer retention and satisfaction. I know Harris teeter to be a friendly neighborhood market, things aren't panning out that way seems like these days. I asked Allison store manager about the sub station but she was extremely rude about preparing me a sub, I arrived at the Harris teeter @6:37pm to get a sub from the deli, the subs are delicious, I get them almost everyday. However she stated the sub station was closing at 7pm, when I asked why cant it be made its only 6:43pm she yelled at me stating, "Do you want me to make you a sandwich" bc I'm big on energy I don't want a sandwich if I have to beg for it to be made although the store manager is supposed to step up and not make excuses about having call outs, if you guys plan to continue to give people jobs just to stand around and allow your brand to crumble then so be it. This is becoming more and more pathetic. Make TAGEE the store manager he is phenomenal!!!!!
