Beware: Horrendous Experience with Hertz! Worst Customer Experience EVER!!Rating 0 starsDo yourself a favor and steer clear of Hertz, especially if you're dealing with an insurance claim. If I could give them zero stars, I would! My recent encounter with Hertz has left me frustrated beyond measure.Firstly, their customer service is ABSURD. I contacted the SOUTH BLV location regarding a glaring billing error on their part, only to be met with utter disdain and a blatant refusal to assist. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes, they callously directed me to contact corporate, as if it's my job to rectify their errors. Time is money, and they seem to have no regard for either. Customers time whether $20 per hour or $2000 per hour, they do not care. all they are interested in is saving their time!!!The incompetence doesn't stop there. Despite the car being leased from their very own location through the insurance company I had to hand over my credit card to them on-site, they managed to charge my card a whopping $760 three months later without any authorization whatsoever. They failed to contact the insurance company and sent them a bill, which had already provided a confirmation number for the invoice.During my two-hour ordeal on the phone with Hertz, they couldn't produce any documentation or authorization from me to justify their unauthorized charge. Their corporate customer service was equally appalling, resorting to a tactic of denial without any willingness to address the issue or escalate it to a manager. They conveniently 'lost' any signatures or authorization forms, essentially robbing me blind. It was really bad!!What's truly baffling is how Hertz continues to operate in such a manner. It's no wonder they were on the brink of bankruptcy before some misguided individuals decided to invest in their stock. Their practices are reprehensible, and it's no surprise that even insurance companies said that they avoid dealing with them due to their consistent incompetence.In conclusion, save yourself the headache and financial loss by avoiding Hertz at all costs. Your sanity and bank account will thank you for it.

They answer the phone but that’s about the only thing good about them. They’ll give you a dirty car just a heads up. Also, don’t not let them talk you into getting any of their insurance. Especially if you’re getting this through your insurance because most likely you’re already covered through your insurance and Hertz knows this, but still will make it seem like you need this. They knew I was covered and still made it seem like they didn’t know when my insurance is the one who got the rental for me.

Very friendly and competent service. We had a problem with our rental and it was quickly solved by a very friendly member of the Hertz family.Parking is easy and the place is centrally located.Very nice experience

Patrice was very welcoming and patient. We had an issue with our online reservation, however she walked us through the process and was able to get us in a car within minutes. Thanks for the awesome customer service. That’s hard to find now days.

Only giving one star because it won’t let me give less. These guys are horrible don’t waste your time. I booked a car on the app and then drove half hour to the store after getting a confirmation email, only to arrive to them saying that I am fourth in line and they will call me when a car is available. No apologies just the reason that the app doesn’t look at inventory. I was a hertz fan until this….

Absolutely garbage booked and paid for rental on line with my credit card. I don't carry a physical card much like every other person these days it's in my Apple wallet. Easily enough that can be verified. The rep stated I couldn't use that. Then I said ok cool just put it in my debit card. She said you can't do that either instead of saying what you can't do offer what the hell you can do.

Worst experience. They did not have the car I reserved. Then the tired to over charge and rent me a outdated dirty car. Never going to hertz agian.

PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE IF YOU REALLY NEED A CAR!!!! If zero stars were possible, I would give it that. To start off, the location of this place is TERRIBLE. You have to make sure that you're paying attention so you don't miss the turn. Additionally, the turn in is so steep. It's awful!It's very obvious that everyone in there hates their job and get easily overwhelmed or annoyed when there may be a rush. Additionally, if coworkers are audacious enough to be rude and unhelpful toward other coworkers in front of guests, then I would hate to see the conversation that is had when customers are gone.I'm just glad they had a car when I needed it because it was arranged through the Insurance. If you're looking for a car, I would call them to check availability because they may not have it. I called in the past to inquire about charges and the wait time is usually very long or your place on hold for several minutes. These ppl early lack customer service and it shows. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS LOCATION

I used the Hertz app to make a reservation on 7/15 and it was confirmed via the app and a text. I arrived to pick up the vehicle at the South Blvd location to be informed by Avery that although my reservation was received they did not have any cars to rent. A phone call or a text message indicating this would have been professional and courteous and saved my time. I do not recommend this location especially considering the staff (Avery) who had no resolution, although I had a confirmation #.

Came to this Hertz location on short notice today to rent a car while mine is getting some maintenance work. The whole staff was super welcoming and helpful. Got me in and out quickly.

Overall staff wasn’t very welcoming. This was my first time renting a Tesla and the lady didn’t explain some functions/operations which I had to google when I got home. Also never walked around car for scratches, dents , etc Car interior was clean. Also she couldn’t explain the deposit and final bill very well, confusing and disappointing experience.

Horrible horrible horrible !! Do not rent from this place , I seen the reviews and still did it but this my word Do not use this rental company !! The customer service is so bad .. Brooks the Caucasian male with long hair and Ryan the managare super rude ,Ryan is the manager , idk how they paid but he had the nerve to tell me that he was responsible for locating their car that was towed by Hertz. Please make that make sense when it actually y'all BS car????? Your reviews are horrible so I tried to give a chance because I as desperate for a car but after this horrible customer service I do not recommend at all. The building is also horrible as well , you can tell how the business cares about their customer by the way they present themselves and I should have known !!

This Hertz is Amazing We Was Stuck At Charlotte Airport because of a bogus reservation and when we came to this location they helped us on the road to Atlanta thanks hertz on South Blvd I really appreciate y'all... especially Mr. Ben and Mr. Avery ??
