Well supplied and reasonably well organized store. Materials are easy to locate and do give it some time to go through. If you're looking for small gifts or if sherys and kitchen cookware needs an update, this store may be a good start.

Many products are available at Homegoods in a variety of categories, such as kitchenware, toys, bathroom supplies, clothing, handbags & bags, and more. I adore doing my shopping in the kitchen and living room. Though I would admit that I also found some incredible finds at the Southpark location, I have found some incredible finds here. Visit your neighborhood HomeGoods if you're looking to buy any furniture for your house; you never know what you might find.

Nice selection on items, but customer service is hit or miss. I had an issue there a few months ago so I did not return. I returned for the holiday season to grab some hosting items including glassware. The cashier poorly handled my items, banging boxes with glass cups on the counter. It’s not the experience you’re expecting when you’re spending over $100.My previous experience I asked for a price adjustment on 3 clearance items, all the exact same items with 3 different prices. ($5, $7, and $10.) When I asked to have them adjusted, the manager fought me on it claiming the 3 items arrived at the store at different times and therefore were different prices. I argued that the numbers on the stickers were all the same number. She adjusted one from $10 to $7, and refused to do anymore. It is not a significant amount, but the experience was horrible and nonsensical. Especially considering the many alternatives near by.

I just had the WORST experience returning an unopened item at this Rivergate Homegoods location. I was returning an item I was not going to use and the nice to lady was about to give me gift card because I did not have a receipt. Which is fine but GEORGE looks at me and product and says check online before you complete transaction. I have not experienced Balant racism but I just did. I will NEVER shop at this store again.I am Very Disappointed in how I was just treated as a paying customer who normally always shops there.I will NOT be back!

This location is always packed to the brim: Everyday decor, seasonal decor, furniture, rugs, kitchenware and pet items. A great store to just browse for things you don't need or if you are looking for something very specific- they probably have it!

I am writing to alert you about an incident involving my 83-year old mother and her experience at a Home Goods store located at 13540 Hoover Creek Blvd #900, Charlotte, NC 28273. Yesterday, October 13 2023, my mother was returning two broken items that were purchased just the day before (Oct 12). The two items totaled approx $16. Her entire purchase was greater than $100. The store manager and clerk accused my mother of fraud by suggesting that she broke the items herself. She was even told that one of the items had an old inventory sticker from 2020! My mother was mortified. She could not sleep. I assisted her yesterday to return $95 worth of items because she was so traumatized over the experience. She now wants nothing to do with a store where she previously loved to shop. I have escalated the matter with the corporate customer service team. But, wanted to share the story for the public.

Normally don’t have an issue with this HomeGoods but today (10/12) I did. Went in at 9:30 looking for a particular item and was told previously and confirmed again today with their manager Mike Green that they cannot hold items so I went in looking for this item and an associate had it in her hands as if she was going to put it out on the floor and when I asked if I could get that from her so she didn’t have to put it up she said “no a customer called and it’s being held for them” I explained that I was told by that manager they aren’t allowed to hold any items but Barbara (the associate) wanted to argue with me and change her story 3 different times. I had then called the manager to confirm again they weren’t allowed to hold any items and he said it was correct so I explained what happened and he apologized then tried to find me another one but they only had the one. Later on around 3:30 I called again to see if they had put anymore out and the associate who answered the phone was an older lady asked what she could help with and I said I was looking for this particular item and she immediately popped an attitude saying “we don’t have them they’re gone” I said “I understand but I have a family friend who is working currently who said she just unboxed them and that you have some to call up so it could be held” she then said “I’m not going to tell you again they’re sold out” and proceeded to just hang up on me. I’ve been trying to call back to speak to a manager about this interaction but no one has been answering the phones. Really disappointed in how these two employees are treating their customers.

Love strolling up and down the isles looking at really unique items for the home. Prices are fabulous…but really fun looking at everything in the store.

I made a return with the tag intact but had no receipt because I couldn't find it. The manager allowed the exchange, but with my return copy, they gave me another printout warning me that I am no longer allowed to return items without a receipt. I asked the lady how long is this "ban?" She said she didn't know. Wow, so this is making me re-think if I really want to give Homegoods any more business. I do not constantly show up with no receipts because there have been other times I have presented a receipt for an exchange. As much business as I have given them over the years, I feel like I am being punished for not keeping up with my receipts!! That is crazy!! I had no idea they had a policy like this!! Beware!!!!

I went there to look for end tables. This was so crowded with merchandise clogging the aisle you could not get a cart down the aisles. After ten minutes of trying to shop between congested aisles I gave up and left.

Love this store but went in for one thing priced at around $20 walked out with over $300 worth. HomeGoods, Marshall’s, TJ Max, Burlington Coat factory, these places are a trap for your wallet. However best deals for new brand name stuff. The traditional department stores barely see traffic these days.
