The rooms were great. The only issue I had was I did my reservation online. Somehow it got messed up and I was double charged when I noticed the charge the clerk assured me it would be fixed and my money would be returned. The money was debited out my account instead of refunded. I’ve called several times no one can give me a direct answer on what happened and refunding my money.

We had an awful time here. They keep running the alarms throughout the day. They gave us a heads up only once but did the fire alarm runs randomly throughout the day for two days. I have a sleeping infant and it was horrible. They’d test like 5 times some hours. The heating in the living area also didn’t work. The stoves barely work, I couldn’t even get a pot of water to boil to sanitize the baby bottles. The sinks are tiny too for washing. Also when we came the dishwasher wasn’t unloaded, that should have been taken care of housekeeping. The room was also not clean. My son was touching random hairballs and things on the floor and it was disgusting. I also asked for extra dishwashing packs (we had a 3 night stay and they only gave us one, make that make sense) and they wouldn’t even bring jt to our room. With a baby it’s so hard to get out sometimes and it’s literally their job??The breakfast was okay, not many hot options but they’ve got the basics. But what did concern me was an employee coughing on her gloves and then touching the foods and surfaces. She did it about three times that I saw.Overall this was the worst experience we’ve had. Very dissapointed as a Hilton diamond member. As a Hilton owned hotel, I expected better.

Had an amazing experience with this hotel when we needed a last-minute meeting room (literally 10 mins until presentation) because a competing hotel lost our reservation. The receptionist and manager were more than accommodating and helpful by allowing us to rent the room for a couple hours with 30 people. This level of service is very uncommon in Charlotte, and we were so thankful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reliable meeting space or room.If you are looking at any of the other hotels next to it, I would pass and use this one every time.Noteworthy details: The meeting rooms and service are top tier. The staff are very accommodating and friendly.

The rooms are clean. The staff is gracious and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast is standard. The location, the hotel is tucked inside a 15min city Ayrsley. The town is effectively an extension of the hotels. Within 5 walking minutes of your hotel you have safe access to at least 5 bars and restaurants, and a movie theater.Best restaurant nearby: Jim an Nick's BBQ...10 min away (I got a pound of smoked pork, gigantic sides of Mac and cheese and potato salad and a dozen cheddar biscuits for 35 dollars... literally ate in heaven for 2 days. Probably could stretched it out for two more days if I could stop myself. It's so good.)Best local pizza: Luigis pizza..10 min away.Rooms: Clean roomsNearby activities: A week's worth of activities within walking distance.Safety: Very safe.

We enjoyed our stay! It made us feel like we were home even though we were not. Mr. Colby and Mrs. Dominique were wonderful! The housekeepers did a wonderful job and were very friendly. The breakfast staff did an awesome job as well, they kept everything full. Definitely can't wait to come back!!Rooms: They have a full kitchen, dining table, a TV in the living room and one in the bedroom. There were also 2 acs, which was nice. Everyone could set the temp for which they like! The room was very clean.

Decent location. Clean. Paper thin walls so when neighbors are partying and talking late into the night, it’s as if their in the same room. Called front desk twice. They don’t care. Not worth the effort to ensure peace and quiet. There’s several Hilton brand hotels in Arsley all right next to each other. Do the smart thing and stay in any of them except Homewood Suites.

We stayed at this hotel for a week. We chose it because it has a kitchenette. We expected a kitchenette with basic utilities. Unfortunately, it doesn't even have basic utensils. The frying pan was really old and all scratched, only 2 cups, 2 small plates. They have small plates that they call "bowls" so do not expect to eat your cereal with them. They don't have a small knife to cut and peel vegetables and fruits. So when we asked them for bigger plates and more glasses, the lady HANDED me some that were so dusty and had a dead insect on them as you can see in the pictures. To be honest, we were shocked. We also found hair on almost all the towels we had. As per the front desk, we asked for a room cleaning for the next day, no one showed up.We travel a lot and have never seen anything like this. When we asked to speak to a manager, the lady at the front desk claimed to be the one and offered us to leave the next day if we weren't happy. To be honest, I didn't know what to say... How can you claim to be a manager when you can't even listen to your guests. If you plan on using the kitchenette, do not go to this place. The Marriott Residence Inn should be a much better option.

Stayed here for almost a week, had pretty much the same breakfast everyday (eggs and potatoes) that was cold and barely refilled when empty unless you stalked the staff. One day out of the 5 they had real plates, hot food, full pans, and were cleaning so we were guessing that some big wig was visiting that day. The weekend morning front desk staff person was extremely rude, especially when you interrupted her personal conversation on her cell phone, if she was even at the desk and not in the breakfast area or at her car. The other staff throughout the stay were courteous and helpful when needed. The rooms were clean when we arrived and stocked with all the essentials as well as a welcome letter from housekeeping, some cookies and bottled water. We booked 2 rooms asked for them to be connecting and that is what we were given. It was odd though that the wall light switch in one bedroom controlled the light in the other suites bedroom; had we only used one room and this was the case, it would have been a bigger problem but it was a bit creepy before we figured out what was happening. The pool and outdoor patio area were nice and clean and the location of the hotel was close to everything we came here for.

Bed bug alert!!!!This place is downright disgusting. Tru was full and we were told by hilton reservations that this is a similar property, it is not. Keep reading, save yourselves. Traveling with my small dog. Limited options. The room was dated. That was the first as well as my best impression. I have been driving 12 hours, exhausted, just looking to sleep and be on our way. We the unpack toiletries and undo the bed. Pull back covers. OMG. There’s BED BUGS. Live and dead. I immediately Start itching myself. This is so disgusting I can’t even make it up. Panicking and packing back up. My daughter was with me as well. To her closer inspection, blood and wine on comforter under folded top portion unearthed in our panic. And to top it all off pubes! This can’t be real. Walking out I go to leash my dog who looks back at me with a dirty sock in his mouth. This place needs to be shut down and reopened as satans waiting room.Do not stay here. You’ll wake up with bug bites and have slept in someone else’s sheets.Hilton this is unforgivable. Hello Marriott.

Great extended stay hotel that even ALLOWS PETS! Nice outside pool, BUT it's not handicapped accessible as their website says. Rooms and common areas are kept clean and have modern furnishings. It's off the busy main road so you don't hear any traffic. And staff has been responsive to our needs during our stay.Rooms: We were in a 1 bedroom king suite with a full kitchen and living room with a sleeper sofa.Nearby activities: You're on the south side of Charlotte close to Carowinds and outlet shopping.Safety: Nice, quiet, safe area of Charlotte.Walkability: The hotel is in a"mini- town" with condos/ apartments, shops, restaurants, and businesses with well-kept sidewalks and landscaping.Food & drinks: A breakfast is included with your room. There are a number of restaurants within the little village area and some fast food and other restaurants as you go back towards the highway.

Clean, beautiful rooms. Our king size bed was very comfortable. And a plus for us was that the restroom had lotion, shampoo and conditioner. It's rare that companies still have perks for people. The employees were friendly, and attentive! Good job Homewood Suites by Hilton!

Checkin quick and efficient. Parking was crowded. I am told 4 hotels share the lot. Hotel easy to find and not too far from a Starbucks thank goodness cause hotel coffee and breakfast was underwhelming. Room was clean enough for 1 night. Yes I am the one that notices splatters on the baseboard in the kitchen and bathroom or hair in the sink that is clearly not mine. They allow pets which I didn’t notice when booking. Heavy deodorizers in use gave me a headache. No blankets for the person sleeping on the sofa but they gave us 2 sheets, so folded was comfy enough for my 8 yr old. Free breakfast was not for me and my wife but the kids love a cereal bar. We don’t have Frosted Flakes at home. Check out easy other guests were nice except the room above us. Woke me up several times after midnight with stomping. Note to self ask for top floor next time. My son wants me to add the couch was good (we did not extend it for sleeping) and Cartoon Network is awesome.

I really wish I would have saw more reviews before I booked??♀️. The smell is horrible, dim lighting in the bathroom is ridiculous, they put me on the first floor and I can't close the curtains completely and my room faces a sitting area so people can see in my room and I woke up at 2 am itching like crazy. They told me they were full for the night and my company is closed because it's 2 am.Hilton should really take a look at this place.

Homewood Suites was a nice place to stay for the night. They are pet-friendly, and at check-in we were given a water bowl and roll of p*** bags. I've stayed at several pet-friendly hotels but this was a first. Very nice surprise. The staff was pleasant and the room was clean and well-stocked. The grounds are nicely maintained and walkable. There are amenities like 24-hour laundry, fitness center, an outdoor pool, patio area with grills, and EV charging stations. A few things were lacking in our room - a broken table which, when touched, nearly tipped over, and the bedside lamp being burned out. Additionally there were no luggage carts available, but none of these things would deter me from staying again.
