We stayed 8 days at the house while my mother was at CMC, and the staff was wonderful. It was affordable, and the proximity to the hospital made it so much easier for us to be with Mom while she recovered. Thank you to the staff and volunteers for helping to make this our home away from home!

I honestly don't know what I would do without this house! The people and volunteers are literal angels walking amoung us. They are some of the nicest people I have ever encountered in my life. I will forever be greatful to everyone that help me and my family while my daughter was in NICU. Not having to worry about where to sleep at night, took a big part of the worrying away from me and to also have a meal cooked from the many volunteers was the cherry on the cake. The house is so cozy and welcoming itself and it feels like your at a close relatives house. Thank you again Hospitality House from the bottom of my heart.

We stayed here for a few days while we waited for a room at Ronald McDonald to open up. The staff and volunteers are phenomenal and the rooms are very comfy. We’re very thankful places like this exist to help folks out during an otherwise difficult time in their lives.

My husband had back surgery at Atrium Hospital Main, Charlotte. Due to living 45 minutes away, Gas prices and traffic on the freeway, I was referred to the Hospitality House. I can only say that it was a Blessing. The staff was so nice and polite. I felt comfortable from check-in to check-out. My room was perfect and comfortable. The kitchen was big and nice also. Before arrival, I was a little concerned about safety but all of that left after check-in.I would definitely stay there again if needed and I highly recommend this facility. To the Hospitality House and staff, THANK YOUDarlene Hopper

We were referred here from Levine Children’s hospital because we were coming from out of town for my 7 month old son’s open heart surgery. This was a very stressful time for us and they made sure the process of finding accommodations was as stress free as possible. They called us the day we were scheduled to come into town and when I told them my son was going to be staying with us the first night before surgery, they told us because of covid restrictions he would not be able to stay with us. They made a reservation for us at a hotel a mile away from the hospital and still had a very affordable rate considering we were there for a week. I didn’t have to do anything besides check in to the hotel. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was extremely helpful and made the entire situation easy and made it so that there was one less thing we had to worry about.

The Hospitality House is a place to stay at, for out-of-town people needing overnight lodging in Charlotte NC due to medical reasons. A hospital referral is required. The Hoapitality House is a private non-profit entity. Rooms are like a hotel room, with a bedroom and bathroom. There is also a sitting room kitchen and laundry room for guests' use. Family members are allowed to stay while a patient is hospitalized. Parking is available, and there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Rates are very reasonable. The place is safe convenient, and the people working there are helpful, compassionate, and competent. I can't say enough good things about this place and the people who work there. It is my intention to make a donation to the charity to help assure it is there for people who need the wonderful service it offers.
