I need to get my taxes prepared but I'm afraid to go to H&R Block. They did my taxes for many years, last year they prepared my taxes, I paid them over $200 bucks and my taxes would not submit unless I provided them with a 4 digit code from the IRS. They gave me a website where I could get the code, that website did not work, I called the IRS, reached a live person which did not know what I was talking about - again no code & no filed taxes through H&R Block although it was paid for.Warning - think again before going to them or ask the IRS for a 4 digit code first.

Set up an appointment and had no clue what they were saying inside. Cramped, loud and had two masks on.AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!And no, I will not spend more time out of my day to call you when you've wasted my time already. Shame

the customer service at this H&R block its not the best to say the least, they had all the required documents they needed from me, STILL they filed my taxes in the wrong state. till this day i have not received my refund BECAUSE OF THEIR MISTAKE. Every employee at this location is very unprofessional & i dont understand how they obtain a tax license. I dont recommend this place to anyone.as to all the 5 star reviews, im sure they're all fake.

I went to this location for a Emerald Advance appointment. My appointment was for 12:15 with Maria, I wasn’t seen until 12:50 and the lady that handled my application wasn’t even Maria. She barely understood me and I barely understood her but we still tried to communicate the best we could.\ \ My entire application was botched and when I asked what went wrong, I was simply told that it was just a denial. No information on how to fix it or if I had other options. I was dismissed while two other people we attended to during my “Appointment”.\ \ Horrible location, horrible service and HR block was of no help. Wouldn’t t recommend, at all.
