My order was not ready at 7:44am when their third party courier went to collect it. IKEA didn't give me a call or text to inform me. Then on the day of delivery I waited all day and ended up calling CS at 8pm and they told me they could organise a new delivery in the next 48 hours

Can get very packed, but good selection on furniture. We liked what they offered. Suggest going earlier, other than that, cool place. Plenty of parking.

I really love to go to IKEA. I mainly purchase a few small items, eat too many meatballs then limp home to Sanford. I went the last time to purchase a $2300 couch. I spoke with a rep in the couch section, told her what I needed, she ordered the three sectional pieces the ottoman and the appropriate amount of legs required for the set (or so I thought). Delivery day came and during assembly, I realized that they shorted me four legs. Now, first, why are legs sold separately? This just invites mistakes like I’ve encountered. I called customer service, they apologized then proceeded to charge me for the legs THEY failed to order and ship. I wasn’t terribly upset as they waived the shipping fee and emailed me a $35 in store coupon (which I will use to purchase loads of meatballs). So I wait about another week for the four legs to arrive. They did. Now, the legs did not come with the decorative fabric sleeve that every other leg on my sectional has. I know this is truly a “first world problem” but c’mon people. This is your job. Attention to detail and thoroughness is everything. Will I stop shopping at IKEA? No. Will I carry a personal vendetta against the Swedish for the rest of my life? No. Will I insist that the 22 year old placing my order read and re read my complete order back to me or have a second co worker check their math and accuracy? You betcha. I’ll be back IKEA, because your Swedish meatballs call to me on a deep spiritual, almost metaphysical level and your Lingonberry dressing on the side makes me feel like a young lad, once again running with careless abandon, through the bountiful wheat fields of Copenhagen.

Bring your own tape measure because they mislabel items in the showroom!! We purchased all the parts for the desk shown as listed on the label expecting to have a two person sized desk. Spent an extra couple hundred dollars in accessories for a desk this large- only to get home (4 hours away) and realize it was mislabeled and the items listed were actually for a desk that only fits one person. Reached out to customer service and they said the only way they would exchange is if we drove the 4 hours back to return the $40 table top even though it was their mistake. We loved ikea before this but really disappointed in how they choose to treat customers and handle their own mistakes!

Whoever the lady is working at the return desk today Thursday March 13th @ 5:45pm is incredibly rude and lacks basic customer service skills. What was supposed to be a smooth interaction of me returning two very heavy boxes turned into her overcorrecting every minimal comment I made and her extending her unwarranted opinions. It was such a sour interaction. I suggest management look at camera footage to address with this employee some reeducation tactics on customer service as I would hate this to be a pattern for future customers fitting in errands on an already exhausting day.
May I add, this return was due to an error on IKEA’s behalf after I received the completely wrong product.

I used to love IKEA but found the shopping experience confusing and difficult. My main goal was to buy a bathroom vanity that I had picked out online and made sure it was available at the store (a 2 1/2 hour drive for me.) A store attendant helped me to place the order in the store and confirmed the availability. So I went ahead and bought some other items too. Not only did it take almost an hour for them to pull the order for me but then they told me that the vanity I wanted was on display and they couldn't move it while there were customers in the store. I was pretty upset and asked to speak to a manager who was incredibly rude to me. I am not going back.

Busiest time of the week, couldn’t find a cart to haul boxes and then got to huge lines at registers, only 2 lanes open with 18-20 people in each.

Ikea usually never disappoints. Was bummed when a few things we wanted were out of stock. Would be great if they offered help loading multiple boxes as employees were just standing around. All in all another good visit.

Buyers should be aware that placing an online order and then IKEA doesn't have it in stock they will cancel your order and charge a service fee on the refund... even though it's not the buyers fault they can't maintain their inventory properly online. So you don't get a full refund.
