Amazing experience volunteering today with some awesome 5th graders and the peeps from First National Bank! The new space at Camp North End is expansive and the staff was so enthusiastic and informative. Will be signing up to volunteer again.

Passionate staff and an important cause, doesn’t get much better than that. Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas runs a tight ship teaching business acumen to 4th graders (in JA Biztown) and 10th graders (in Finance Park). Highly recommend volunteering with them for a day.

From Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas
Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to giving students the knowledge and skills needed for economic success.
Locally, JA of Central Carolinas (JACC) was founded in 1958 and is now headquartered in Camp North End. Serving 52 counties in North and South Carolina, JACC is on its way to reaching 100,000 students by 2023. Programs are delivered by volunteers, and provide relevant, hands-on experiences that give students, K-12, the knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness and being entrepreneurial. JACC is preparing young people by increasing their likelihood of finding career success, starting a business and navigating economic uncertainty.
