I normally don't enjoy leaving negative reviews as everyone has off days, but this experience almost cost me my new job and I hope this will help anyone in my position.
I made an appointment for 11:30 and went in for a pre-employment drug screen. I gave a good enough sample, and was told I needed 2x as much, which really felt like a lot to have. Also, mind you, that its noted when you get the form that drinking that much to produce that much could make your urine get marked too diluted.
I was able to go to the lobby to drink water and the tech said he would check on me in 10 minutes. The drank a lot of water, and went back to give the rest of the sample. Unfortunately, I just wasn't able to produce the required amount, but I definitely had given at least 6oz if not more. Then, the tech told me he couldn't use my orginal sample, so I was expected to produce an already large amount all over again.
I was told by the tech that they closed and I couldn't stay, and I can't come back later in the day, that I had to get a new scheduling and had to call he requesting company.
I called only to find out that the lab had marked by test as a refusal, which was not the case and did not look great for me with my new employer and was very embarrassing. Highly would not recommend this lab.

The worst experience of having my blood drawn I've EVER had. The labcorp in Ballantyne versus this ghetto location is like night and day.
1. The girl at the front desk had the nastiest attitude because didn't have the doctors order printed... which my doctor sent it to me virtually and that is not listed as a requirement when you make an appointment. She started muttering and shaking her head like she had a problem with it. And pointed to the sign to email it like I'm supposed to know.
3. After having a nasty attitude, she then says $150 how do you want to pay? I'm like what the are you talking about? I just had my blood drawn 2 months prior at the Ballantine location and they didn't ask for anything, mainly because my insurance covered it. I had to ask her what she's talking about and her explanation was so inadequate I just ended up reading the policy to figure out what the card on file meant.
2. The lab draw rooms are dirty... I almost didn't want to sit in the seat to get my blood drawn. How are you a medical facility and your equipment is dirty?
3. The girl that did the lab draw hurt me so bad during the draw. I've had so many and NEVER did it hurt as bad. After I'm like wow cuz I was bleeding worse than normal and the bruise on my arm is huge.. my entire arm is so sore I can't even pick up my daughter the next day which has never occurred before.
This location is horrible..... DO BETTER!

On the website it says that Labcorp takes walk-ins. When I showed up they told me they didn't take walk-ins. Which one is it? I also called the office and left message that were never returnd. Mind you there was know one in the waiting room area. So the next available appointment was 3 days later, After reading the reviews, is there another company that offers the same service?

I really hope this post finds the eyes of someone in management and who actually cares about the patients who frequent your locations.
Your patients are filled with fear and uncertainty and are not greeted or treated with respect by your impatient staff. One young girl in particular with a heart tattoo on her face was aggressively unhelpful. Every answer was short and made with haste, in a a tone and disrespectful. After being treated with such disrespect and impatience I will not seek service from your staff. Any attempt to tell me what to do, after this treatment, fell on deaf ears. I had a simple question. Your system told me to sit down and my name would be called. My simple question, and I'm glad I asked, (because your inattentive and dismissive staff didn't address me at all) was if I was in the system to be called on. The girl with the face tattoo couldn't wait to tell me, in fast disrespectful phrases the same unhelpful things she was saying to other people who were struggling to use your registration machines.
It's a shame I have to advocate for myself on Google. This really is representative of the times.

Booked an appointment a week in advance. Checked in super easy on my phone. Was seen in less than 5 mins. I have no complaints

I was told by my surgeon to go to LabCorp to get some final lab work done after having a previous procedure. Not only was I made to check in at a kiosk that was clearly having difficulties and slotting people for times that were an hour and a half later than the time they arrived upon speaking with the young lady that was doing the check-ins as well as another gentleman I was told that I would still have to wait over an hour for my lab work to be done mind you I had already sat there for 15 minutes. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. Is LabCorp continues to use that stupid kiosk to do check-ins you're going to lose business so either fix it or get rid of it.

The receptionist wasted my time by telling to use self check in to enter all insurance information to find out that there are no appointments available. She was too busy watching her phone to do her job.

I rarely leave reviews for businesses but felt like I had to for this Labcorp (after having very mediocre experiences at another location in Charlotte). TL;DR I came twice in one week and had wonderful and efficient encounters with the staff both times.
I came in last week for a self paid drug test in preparation for a pre employment one this week. The check in process was a bit confusing with the wait time it stated, but the staff mentioned it was a new system as of two days ago and they were efficient and calling people up to the window to make sure everyone was checked in correctly. The kindness and, dare I say, enthusiasm of the team was something I’ve never felt at a Labcorp before, from the front desk staff to who I believe to be the general manager to the person administering my test. I literally left and text three people about how astonished I was by the seamless process and kind employees. The only downside was I had to wait an hour but that was 100% on me because I didn’t make an appointment.
For my pre employment test, I seamlessly scanned my QR code to check in for my appointment and the staff, once again, was so kind, thorough, and efficient. No matter where I live in the Charlotte area, this is the only Labcorp I ever want to visit. Thank you!

I had an appointment at this Labcorp location on 12/16/2024 at 2:30pm. I arrived at 2:00 and checked in early. No one came to greet me until 2:45, 15 minutes after my appointment was scheduled. It then took them another 15 minutes to tell me that I was unable to do my pre employment screening at this location because it was for Quest Diagnostic and not Labcorp.
If I was seen at the time I was supposed to be seen, it could’ve made my day a lot easier. The lobby had me and one other person and when I went into the back room no other person was there besides the doctors.

I get my blood drawn pretty often but I have never had such a painful and unpleasant experience before. Hours later and there is still pain in my arm. The person was clearly in a very bad mood and did not care about my existence at all. It can be hard to feel like you still have autonomy while dealing with a worsening medical condition, so when a medical professional treats you like a rag doll it adds to the difficulty.

Will not use them again to get lab work completed. Waited almost an hour for a scheduled appointment. Very unfriendly staff and a full waiting room.
