The pizza at Librettos is good, but the best part of this place is the deli. Sandwiches are very, very good. The Reuben is a legitimate Reuben, and probably my favorite, but there are probably a dozen sandwiches that are excellent, and a few that truly standout. Great food here overall, folks are always friendly. One of my go-to places when I'm in the area.Parking: Few spots out front, but plenty around back.

This is a take out based experience so I don’t know if that had anything to do with our food order. The pizza flavors were just average at best, the veggie pizza was well loaded with toppings but missing flavors and almost bland. Some of the veggies weren’t even cut properly. The chicken wings and chicken pizza seemed to be made from chunky hard chicken - haven’t had such chicken in a long time.We had asked for chili flakes and oregano to be included and it wasn’t. The order of boneless wings wasn’t boneless.Overall suboptimal experience. We may give it another try just to see if this was just a one-off time or is it always like this.

They have remodeled since they last time I was there sadly not as family oriented as before. Our server lacked in service but the manager stepped in and helped out with our service and even gave us a discount and apologized for the server. Was nice to have the stuffed mushrooms and a slice of Bianca pizza and enjoy the meal with My husband.A must do again.

I've been here a couple of times, and the pizza was nothing to write about. We mainly come for the beer. This last time we went, the pizza was much better. The pizza looked and tasted like a New york style pizza. Which I enjoy. Definitely will come back and hope the pizza will stay consistent.

I had high hopes for this place and I really wanted to like it, but I do not. As a Jersey girl, I know good food and NY style pizza. This is not it. The food is way too, extra greasy. Literally leaking from the box. The fries were cold and soggy and had NO flavor. The stromboli is extremely basic and the pizza was decent, but severely greasy and upset my stomach. The food is probably good to locals and to those who did not grow up in the Northern states. The atmosphere is also very dark. I don’t know why I thought it would have been different inside of the restaurant… But the people who work there are friendly though. So that’s why I’ll give 2.5 stars.

In Ballantyne is a delightful secret nestled within Libretto's Pizza—a ghost kitchen by the name of Junior's NYC Deli. It was an Instagram post, a visual siren's song of a Cuban sandwich that first beckoned me, only to find myself further enchanted by the allure of a house-smoked pastrami Reuben sandwich. Unable to resist, I marked my calendar for a weekend lunch escapade.I boldly ordered both the Cuban and the Pastrami Reuben. Yes, both! Half of each was thoughtfully boxed to prolong the gastronomic joy into the evening. For those whose appetites wander to different cravings, fear not, for the Italian embrace of NY-Style pizza and dishes stands ready to satisfy. And for those in pursuit of libation, a full bar awaits. The Cuban sandwich, priced at an inviting $13, was a masterclass in sandwich craft. The house-baked Cuban bread, lovingly baked with bacon fat, cradled house-roasted mojo pork, ham, mustard, pickles, and Swiss cheese—a press sealing the deal. This, my fellow foodies, is the Cuban sandwich of my dreams. The mojo pork moist & tender, the Swiss cheese a gooey delight, and the balance of mustard and pickles, a harmony of flavors that danced in my mouth.Next up, the house-smoked pastrami Reuben, at $14, a spectacle on thick slices of house-baked sourdough rye bread. Each element, from the buttery crispy sourdough rye to the savory thousand island dressing, melded with the Swiss cheese and, in my case, sans sauerkraut. The pastrami, oh the pastrami, smoked in-house to a level of perfection that would make NYC delis weep with envy. Mike Libretto, the maestro behind the curtain, has channeled the essence of NYC's Sarge's Deli into every bite. And for the insatiably hungry, a mere $5 promises a double mountain of meat, though I found the standard serving more than ample.Ease of access? Check, with parking aplenty and free. Comfort? Assured, amidst a dining area that welcomes with open arms. My visit, at the peak of Saturday's leisurely hours, found the place abuzz with satisfied patrons. The soundtrack? A soothing blend of Norah Jones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Jack Johnson that serenaded the dining experience.Savannah, the ambassador of Junior's/Libretto’s at the order counter, navigated the menu with an expertise that was both impressive and reassuring. And Mike, the visionary behind this culinary haven, radiates a pride in his offerings.Support this beacon of local business, and treat yourself to a meal that resonates with the soul seeking Cuban and Reuben sandwich enthusiasts.

We ordered a large cheese pizza to go at the Ballantyne location. I should have realized when she handed me the box and it was not warm that something was wrong. We got home and pizza was a large reheated single slice pizza. Instead of making a pizza from scratch they threw a pizza that had been sitting on the counter in a box. The cheese was tough and the sauce was tasteless.Lesson learned if the box is not hot, the pizza did not just come out of the oven. This is the last pizza I will ever order.

We walk in, and they're playing Springsteen. They are showing the hockey All-Star game, Princess Bride, Boomerang cartoons, and a basketball game, and Golf or something. The service was great, and the food is very north of the Mason-Dixon line....sooooooo good! The sandwhiches and the appetizers are unreal. The pizza is always good. It was our first time eating inside (always take out before) there, and we will be back.
