The shopping experience is not necessarily bad, but you had better hope the product you buy works the first time and doesn't need to be returned.Twice now I've had grueling experiences with returns of faulty product (the first was for replacement windows I ordered). This time was for laminate floor. The guest services attendant was apathetic and refused to give a full refund for a product that did not work properly.Customer service call center was just as (un)helpful - paraphrasing, they basically said too bad, we're sticking with the store's decision.Unless you have very light home project needs (like changing a lightbulb) I'd recommend going somewhere else for true home improvement needs. If you get a faulty product, you'll likely be stuck holding the bag.

For being a “pilot store” that is next door to the Lowe’s IT building here in Southend the employees at this store know absolutely nothing about how to use their inventory system. Train your employees so that they don’t have to say “no you can’t return this” just bc they don’t know how to find something you’re asking for in their system. The employees get frustrated (due to their lack of training) and take it out on the client. We tried returning something we bought from another Lowe’s with a receipt and they said we have to go return it at another Lowe’s because “they cannot find” it aka THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIND IT in their inventory system. That’s not my problem as the customer. That’s a Lowe’s problem. Main point- train your employees!

They gave me the wrong order at curbside pickup but fixed it the next day with no trouble. They turned a bad experience into a good one. Do not call the Lowe's 1-800 number as they cannot do anything but tell you to call the store.

I love lowes, but they need to hire more people. This is not specific to this store, but the entire chain. Not enough, interaction when you need help, and it's not because of being ignored. It's because of being understaffed by choice.
