This is such a magical, gorgeous and unique boutique. The owners, sisters, were truly wonderful and so talented.
This was the second shop my niece went to and they chose 6 dresses for her just based on location, venue and season. They were 100% spot on with the selections and she ended up saying YES TO THE DRESS!
I would definitely recommend them 10/10. Such a wonderful experience. Thank you ❤️

We had the ultimate bridal experience at Mackins Bridal on Beatties Ford Rd in Charlotte! From the intimate, personalized care to the option of renting the entire space for a large party with charcuterie and champagne, it was truly a special experience. The team is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about making sure each bride feels supported and beautiful. They have a fantastic selection of dresses, with the added bonus of being able to customize your gown. Tracie, the designer, brings a wealth of expertise with her fashion and design background, including studying at The American University in London and debuting multiple collections. The idea for the business came from the challenges Jessica (co-owner) faced finding a dress, and now they help brides of all sizes find the perfect fit.
As for pricing, it’s very reasonable—comparable to, if not better than, all the other bridal shops we visited in Charlotte. I highly recommend Mackins Bridal for anyone looking for a unique, memorable, and affordable bridal experience!

A delightful experience! I love that the dresses are customizable so I could really bring my vision to light, I decided to add removable sleeves and go for a midi dress. I was able to explain exactly what I wanted for my dress before I purchased it. The best part for me is that alterations are done in-house. Really really cannot express how amazing and easy of an experience this has been.

I wish I could wholeheartedly recommend Mackins Bridal Boutique to other brides-to-be, but unfortunately, my experience with their communication has been disappointing. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, and effective communication from vendors is crucial. Unfortunately, I've encountered two significant instances where their lack of communication caused inconvenience, delays and anxiety.
Firstly, there were issues with scheduling my dress fittings. On two separate occasions, I arrived at the shop for appointments that were somehow not logged or confirmed properly, which delayed the fitting process. This not only wasted my time but added unnecessary stress in the lead-up to my wedding day.
Secondly, the pick-up process for my dress was also mishandled due to poor communication. Imagine arriving at the shop as scheduled (four days before your wedding) to collect your wedding dress, only to find no one there to assist you. It was incredibly frustrating and unsettling to be left waiting without any prior notice of the delay or an alternative arrangement.
Overall, while the quality of the dresses and the shop's ambiance are commendable, the lack of communication severely impacts the overall customer experience. For future brides considering Mackins Bridal Boutique, I would strongly advise ensuring clear and consistent communication channels are established to avoid similar issues. There's tremendous potential here, but significant improvements in communication practices are necessary to provide a reliable and stress-free experience for brides-to-be.

5 star customer service and quality experience! I cannot wait to wear my wedding dress. Each time I visited, whether it was to shop, get fitted, etc it been a memory and experience I won’t forget. I love the quality and affordability the Mackins sisters provide. Highly recommend!

I came across Mackins bridal on Instagram and began to follow them. About 3 weeks ago a friend of mine who is also in a wedding had an amazing experience with the bride as well as others in the party which even the more convinced me to give them a try. After not finding exactly what I wanted online in a dress I decided to have a dress made. I have already been to another seamstress prior to & had my measurements and designed what I thought was the dress of my dreams. But being a first-time bride I wanted the full experience of going with my party to have the whole try on dress experience with no intention on purchasing the dress because I have already begun to have one made. I was greeted with my name on the sign outside of the store as well as a hug and a smile from the owner. After trying on about 5 or 6 dresses the final one brought tears to my eyes and what I could not find found me at Mackin's Bridal!!!! Needless to say I have requested my deposit back I am no longer getting what I thought was my dream dress made because I am now purchasing it from Mackins Bridal! I hope and pray after reading this review that your dream dress finds you there too!!! Thank you for making my dreams come true!!!

Thank goodness for bridal expos! I was able to find this lovely boutique, that makes custom wedding dresses. Charlotte is very limited in finding black wedding dresses. But luckily, this boutique saved me. Great customer service! And can’t wait to see my wedding dress :)

The Mackins Sisters deserve all of their flowers! We visited the boutique in search of my sister dream wedding gown & Mrs. Tracie gave us a one of a kind experience! She was so informative and attentive to our needs & wants. 1000/10 would recommend over any bridal shop in the Charlotte & surrounding areas!

My future sister-in-law recently had an appointment here to try on dresses. When we arrived, the store was closed. The lights were off and the door was locked. They forgot about her appointment; we had to call them and then wait for someone to arrive to come open the store. Luckily, the person who came to let us in only took 10-15 minutes to arrive. But overall, it was a very unprofessional experience for us.
