I had Textbook symptoms of strep. Tested negative w/ rapid strep test. Physician @ MC said she “knew it wasn’t strep b/c my glands weren’t swollen enough and my throat didn’t look that angry.” (Note: it was covered in white spots.) Per her recommendation, tested 2x for Covid to cover my bases. Both were negative, so I went to Novant for 2nd opinion. Dr. @ Novant saw my throat & immediately said, “this is definitely strep.” Noted that the rapid test only tests for one strain of strep. He did throat culture which came back positive for strep with “heavy growth.” This is the 2nd time I’ve been to this clinic and they have totally missed the mark. I get that it’s convenient, but the lack of competency is alarming.

A special thank you to Christine Wells in the Minute Clinic. She took an unscheduled moment to provide me with her undivided attention and advice. She was very welcoming, relatable, and detailed with the information provided. I am very grateful for her help and thankful that CVS hires professionals with these characteristics.Sincerely,Loyal Customer To CVS

As a person who has extreme needle phobia, it’s really hard for me to find someone I’m comfortable with giving me injections. The NP Mary that took care of me was AMAZING! If I could give 6 stars I would. She had such a calm demeanor that helped me calm my own nerves, and she didn’t make me feel like my fears were an inconvenience. She reassured me about my concerns, and talked me through everything she was doing before she did it. She also didn’t proceed with anything until I gave her the “Okay” that I was ready. I highly recommend Mary and this minute clinic, and will be coming back here for vaccines in the future. Thank you Mary!

Waste of time. If you have published hours of operation, you should take patients until that hour. If you don’t take patients 30 minutes prior to closing, you should probably account for that in your posted hours of operation. Otherwise it’s misleading. Most professionals work until the job is done… I arrived before the office closed and two staff members were laughing and having a great time. Then they said they wouldn’t see me because they were soon closing and taking me as a patient would require them to stay later. Kind of a joke that the name is “Minute Clinic” and that the business you’re in is taking care of sick people. Not true based on my experience! Get a more accommodating staff… you’re in the *healthcare* industry.

I am so grateful to the staff at CVS MinuteClinic-Carmel Rd. The NP took the time to listen to me and diagnose an issue that even a specialist did not catch. I finally felt heard in a healthcare setting. I am so appreciative!

Erica (nurse) was phenomenal with taking my blood for a TB gold test. Least painless experience of giving blood, which is top notch in my book. Extremely friendly, while also going above and beyond with making me feel calm during the whole process. By far the best cvs minute clinic I’ve ever been to!

Pick a different location. These people are super unhelpful and won’t even greet you or say hello. It’s uncaring. They aren’t unfriendly, they’re just nothing. Especially when you’re here because you don’t feel well- a little empathy and recognition when patients walk up would be decent.

The nurse practitioners at this location is NOT a helpful provider. I came in today for an appointment to be examined with swollen lymph nodes and extremely swollen and painful tonsils. My strep test came back negative. Instead of her writing antibiotics to help clear the bacteria obviously present she demanded I come back another day for a covid test and went on and on about how “the delta variant” is so dangerous. I have had tonsillitis before and this is what I am dealing with now. She wouldn’t do her recommended covid test because she was “booked”. She lacked empathy and was rude and short. I paid $185 for NOTHING. Don’t go to this location.

At 6:40ish the website noted a closing time of 7:30 with a 0min wait and no option to check in online so I scooted across town to address a painful nagging cough. Walked in the door just before 7pm and literally on the heels of one person checking in before me. The NP came out and grabbed the person infront of me and said that i was too late to been seen and that their appointments were full......Literally there was that one person who was a walkin...it was before 7, more than 30 mins before closing.....

I did not have insurance. The doctor that I saw was very kind. She tried to work with me to reduce the cost of my visit. She even gave me a discount card to help with the cost of my medications. Highly recommended this clinic.
