I’m so sad to be writing a negative review for this place. I’ve been going here for years and only had sporadic pest issues with plants purchased from here, which is to be expected with collecting house plants. I purchased several plants about a month ago and now have mealies, spider mites and thrips.

They have a great variety of indoor and outdoor plants. Even have Koi fish if you are wanting to make a pond in your garden.

My favorite nursery for houseplants in Charlotte! They have 3 greenhouses full of houseplants as well as several more with outdoor plants, trees and bushes. The plants range from tiny 2”pots to giant Fiddle Leaf Fig trees and palms. I have purchased several large hanging Hoya plants as well as ficus trees and small succulents. I have not had pest problems with any of the plants I purchased and return here monthly to see what’s new. Definitely the place to visit in Charlotte if you need some lovely and healthy houseplants!

Prices are a little high compared to like a Pike nursery but they have some rare plants, lots and lots of variety. Only downside is the part of town it's in. Homeless man actively walking around in the greenhouse. I don't blame him since it's warm and it was raining.**Went to this greenhouse again today and they are way better than most nurseries I've been to. Rare plants, galore. They have some stunning plants like a varigated euphoria that's the biggest I've ever seen.

Wow! This place has an incredible selection of indoor and outdoor plants and an array of beautiful pots. They also carry very cool rare plant varieties. Everyone who works there was so nice to us and our pup! As we were checking out, one of the workers noticed that one of the plants we were buying was smaller than the size on the price label and marked it down. They also helped us sleeve our plants and load them into our car. They went above and beyond and we had such a lovely experience. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent place to get plants and flowers. The price for most items is quite good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are also knowledgeable. They have variety of flowers and houseplants available, they also sell varieties of tropical plants, which is quite hard to find on other nurseries.Excellent nursery.

Wow! All I can say is this place is truly the BEST plant place I have EVER been. There are 4 greenhouses with soooooo many plants and varieties-including rare ones as well. The prices are very fair.

I love this greenhouse and the variety of plants but i've noticed a pest issue the last few months. I saw a thrip on this plant right after buying it a month or two ago when I got in the car. Then while cleaning it up I found mealie bugs! I wish I had taken it back but thought I could treat it and quarantine but now all my plants are not doing well and I can’t seem to get rid of it. I noticed a lot of plants there seemed to have some damaged leaves but I thought it was maybe from people touching or something. Hopefully it’s been fixed but keep an eye out and don’t risk it like me!

I work nearby but rarely get in to shop at this spot. Every time I do, I am very surprised by the variety and amazed by the warmth and kindness of the staff. Ask questions, they are a wealth of knowledge.

Oakdale was an absolute pleasure to rent ferns from. We rented about 12 ferns for my wedding and they were STUNNING. We also bought some succulents from them and they were perfect. All of the staff were so kind and helpful when we came to the greenhouse and on the phone. Definitely recommend this greenhouse in Charlotte!
