The store is clean but prices are high, selection of what they even sell leaves something to be desired, and associates looked busy but missed out on a purchase if they would have helped me a little proactively at all. Copy and ship center is the only reason to go here.

I walked into the store to get printer ink and paper for a project I am working on. I was immediately greeted by a man who kindly helped me figure out which ink to get and continued to help me find the perfect paper for printing pictures that I would need to cut using a cricut machine. The great customer service continued as I went to check out at the front and the cashier helped me get the best deals on the items I was purchasing and told me about the rewards I can get to make things more affordable! It's not often that you see people truly caring about their job and helping others in a genuine way! So thank you to the two men that helped me :) It didn't go unnoticed!

I was there on 3/3/2023 to print and laminate my offer document. I asked the service man to let me see the layout before printing but he did not and when I suggested him to trim the paper before laminating he asked to pay $3 extra that is funny and ridiculous. Not a smile to customer. I recommend not visiting here again or with that service man (he wear bear)

Purchased an Epson printer, which I needed to order for home delivery because the store had none in stock. When I received the printer (2 days after the promised date), it didn't work. Returned the printer to the store and exchanged it for an HP, which does work. When I purchased the Epson, I had also purchased a 3-year protection plan. Decided to cancel this because I returned the printer. Cancellation process was HORRIBLE. Was on the phone with the Customer Service Center for 40 minutes. At least 10 minutes of this time was waiting for the customer service rep to contact the store. *Note - this review pertains as much to OfficeMax in general as it does to this specific store location. The employees were friendly and helpful.

This is a tiny Office Max. They have limited items and it seems like limited employees. I normally have to search for someone to help me. The prices aren't that good and I can find most items other places for cheaper. They do have some good clearance items ever so often. You just have to check in regularly. The store is always clean and so are their bathrooms. On my last visit the registers weren't open and everyone had to pay at the print center. I had a question and had to wait a long time to ask it. If you are in a bind and need office supplies they normally have everything you need but at a higher price to me. There school supply section is always lacking in my opinionOffice Max 14129 Rivergate PkwyCharlotte, NC 28273

Went in to get copies and needed a specific quality of paper. The lady managing the counter lacked friendliness, customer service skills, no personality, and acted like I was bothering her. It was such a horrible transaction. So many places to get copies, save yourself and pick a competitor!

Stopped by to pick up a $400 office chair. Manager was uninterested in helping and no one in the store to help find the chair on the top shelves. After looking for an associate to help for 30 mins I Decided to go to Best Buy next door for a much better experience. Would not recommend office max / office depot for anything.

Omg horrible service, do not get any cards, binders, posters etc make here. They set promises and do not keep them. I needed 6 spiral binders mAde by a certain date, it was imperative they had them done and all she told me was "I'll have them done later today, maybe" as earlier in the day I was promised they would be done in the am that day. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I stop at this Office Max because they had a sale on a Security Software I have been looking at for awhile. The software was on sale for $54.00, which was 45% off the original price. I do a lot of Internet shopping as well and this price would be only good for 6 more hours, so instead of ordering it on line, I stopped by the store and picked up the empty box, then took it to the cashier for check out. He radioed another sales associate to get one from the back somewhere. Well, after 5-10 minutes the cashier told me we don't have anymore. That was it, "we don't have anymore, he can't find one." He gave me no other suggestions or any other useful information about this product! If you don't have the product in stock, why advertise it? I came home and order one online and now I am awaiting the 3-4 days for delivery. I was disappointed that this item wasn't in stock and the employees was not helpful, at all!!! I am not really impressed with this store, or maybe it's how the employees are trained. But the employee makes the store.

Much like wandering a Home Depot (there's one nearby), I enjoy wandering the aisles of office supply stores. Interesting widgets and doodads for making my deck more interesting or more organized or just making it easier to get things done. So today, I popped into this OfficeMax to pick up some rubber bands and a new pen. Boring. But while I was there, I tried out the office furniture, poked at the laptops and seriously thought about getting a different shade of white paper for my home printer. A table out front with majorly discounted digital cameras and other electronic stuff. I was hoping for a bargain but didn't spot anything worthwhile.

Great managers, and staff. Solved a problem for me that the On line customer service center would have screwed me on. If you buy something online and have a problem go local. You will be amazed at the difference in how you are treated. The CSR rep. actually hung up on me when I tried to explain the mfr. took over 14 days to tell me I should have bought a different projector. They traded an Epson for my not quiet ready for 64 bit Ben Q, without any hassle(store). I had documentation. It really ticked me off that the Ben Q projector was manufactured in Feb. of this year but the online rep. told me she could not help. The store treated me like family. I made sure I spent $100 there out of gratitude. Also unless you want to be frustrated, buy Epson instead of Ben Q. I also have to send back another item that they told me I needed. Just got the RMA today($62). It amazes me they(Ben Q) put out products that cannot handle Windows 7 64 bit, 5 years after it was released.
