This location doesn’t deserve 1 star. I have an ongoing reservation with them and every Monday I pick up a truck. Since last year they have rented me a truck that had some kind of mechanical issue, error message and just downright dirty. It’s crazy how that COVID is over that they no longer clean their trucks. This is unacceptable. They actually sent me out with a truck that had warping of the tires and when I reached 30 mph the steering wheel shook uncontrollably. Not to mention I needed lockout assistance and they told me it would be $150/per hour and it took less than 10 minutes to unlock the door. There was no keys that had to be made. Now tell me why are they now trying to charge me $1600 for this incident…… there would be no way possible that I would’ve used their service had this been communicated to me upfront. I met another guy that had a lease with them for a tractor trailer and he told them the truck had a leak. They told him they didn’t find anything and of course it was and he had to buy an excessive amount of fluid while he was out on the road. He said after his lease he would never do business with them again. This location must be losing money because they are ripping off their customers. I also noticed that the crew of employees they had before are no longer there so they must be treating their employees like the maintenance on their vehicles….. Like Garbage!!

They seriously need to hire someone else to fuel trucks at night you pull in and wait 20 minutes before the girl gets out of her car and cell phone is always glued to her hand it’s ridiculous us as drivers are losing time off our clock waiting

My brother recently moved and spent most of his day driving from one U-Haul store to another after the original U-Haul did not have the truck he reserved. At Penske it took all of 5 minutes to pick up the truck. They were quick and professional. I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else in the area

Husband stops here to fuel up and people are so nice and helpful. They build that family type relationship with their customers (also at the stallings nc location).

Very caring staff that actually take the time to make sure you have what you need. When we left an item in one of the units they held it for over a week until we were able to come and pick the item up. I really appreciate how much this locations employees care about their customers.

Chandler gave me excellent service today. He changed my turbo hose faster than a Nascar pitstop. Most of all he was waiting outside for me to arrive. He was opening my hood before he even spoke to me. EXCELLENT service.

Do yourselves a favor and go with Uhaul. My rental needed to be extended longer than I anticipated and it was out of my control due to the closing on my house being rescheduled. The money had been paid $437 because they told me they would need me to go ahead and pay. No problem. My card is on file. I had kept them in the loop on the situation which again was out of my control. Trust me I don't want to pay almost $500 for a truck that hasn't even been driven 20 miles. I literally loaded my apartment and parked it in my sisters drive way in the same town. Fast forward to today, I was then threatened that they would report the truck stolen if I didn't return it by noon. They had already agreed that I could have it until the evening since I finally got the closing date. Thankfully customer service read the notes and let me keep it. What I don't understand is they have an entire lot of trucks just sitting. If I'm paying for the truck why can I not extend the rental? And why would you threaten to report a truck stolen when I've been in contact with you about my situation? Terrible customer service in my opinion.

I rented a truck on 07/03/2 with the term of unlimited miles. I returned the truck on scheduled date, 07/04/22 but 2 hours late. I did not call the store because I thought the store was closed on JULY 4TH. The store manager, Lucas Grotts explained to me its company policy not to refund customers $100.00 deposit and charge for the whole day. This is unfair and truly unprofessional customer service, in fact I believe its stealing from your customers. I spoke with another company representative, and he explained company rules are set up, if I had called and explained I was running late. I am giving 2/3 hours windows before being charge a whole day. Once again, I did not call because it was July 4th and I thought the store was not open and Lucas Grotts explained, if I had not drove the truck 600 miles he would refund some of my money but Lucas said, I took advantage of the unlimited miles rule so he will not refund my deposit.
