I got my coach and bed during Covid. No one would help me take the things upstairs. If I had know I wouldn’t have gotten help when they delivered I would have tried to hire help. Other than that struggle to move my things on my own it was good ?

I'm writing this review as a former employee who spent approximately 1 month and 3 weeks at this location before my employment was abruptly terminated. My time here was marred by several issues that I feel compelled to share.First and foremost, it's disheartening to report that Rent-A-Center exhibited a blatant disregard for the safety and health of its workers. This concern extended to both physical and mental well-being. I found it alarming that derogatory comments about clients were not only tolerated but, shockingly, appeared to be an office-wide running joke. Such an unprofessional and toxic work environment was a constant source of discomfort.Moreover, the managerial team at Rent-A-Center failed to provide adequate training to new hires. It was evident that the managers themselves lacked the necessary skills to properly train employees, compounding the problem. As a result, many new hires, including myself, were left to navigate our roles with inadequate support, leading to frustration and inefficiency.One incident that particularly stands out is when I sustained an injury while working diligently to support the store's operations following a coworker's injury. Despite my dedication and the potential risks to my own health, I was asked to handle deliveries alone. After careful consideration, I refused to undertake this potentially dangerous task, as I prioritized my own well-being. To my shock, I was subsequently terminated from my position, despite the considerable effort and contributions I had made to the company.In light of these troubling experiences, I can't help but feel that Rent-A-Center needs to address its issues urgently. The management's negligence, disregard for employee well-being, and lack of proper training are deeply concerning and should not be ignored. It is my sincere belief that the issues I encountered are indicative of broader systemic problems within the organization.In conclusion, my time at Rent-A-Center was marked by a lack of concern for worker safety, a toxic office culture, inadequate training, and unjust treatment. I implore the management to address these problems promptly for the betterment of both current and future employees. It is my hope that my review serves as a cautionary tale and a call for improvements to be made within the company.

This rent a center is horrible the manager sorita whatever her name is rude calls you all time of the night and day rude rude rude I would never deal with this establishment again . Lies about giving you free weeks lack of communication horrible . Your are harrased they don’t even give you time to make your payment .
