We come here for the story times they host and my kids absolutely love it. It’s such a fun atmosphere and the owner is a gem. The cupcakes are always delicious. We are definitely repeat customers!

Cute place but not worth the price. Ordered cupcakes for my bosses birthday and was wildly disappointing. They look nice but were very dry and hard as if the cupcakes were either old or over baked.

Flavorful, fresh and reasonable priced for the area, and the baker is so sweet!

I don’t understand all the bad reviews here, but guess it all boils down to preferences. I think they’re great. It is not a light fluffy cake, it’s a dense heavy cake, which I happen to love vs the fluffy kind. The icing is sweet. And it is amazing. Good buttercream. They didn’t seem stale to me at all. Again it’s a dense cake. They are a bit pricey but all baked goods are anymore.I always stop here after my son gets a haircut and I’ve never been dissapointed. The cookies Ans cream is my fav

first i would like to say that kaitlyn is the sweetest soul on earth. her cupcakes are very good but i would like to say that the banana cupcake in particular doesn't have the best frosting. it would be absolutely perfect if it was sweeter and more banana taste. everything else is amazing!!!!

I have been coming here regularly for 3 years. I have my favorite flavors and have given them plenty of business. Today I stopped in and the owner was there. I purchased a few things-a cupcake, 2 macaroons and a cake pop for our family. My daughter and I bit into the macaroons and they tasted funky and banana flavored. I then put them aside and attempted to take a bite of the cupcake-and it was dry and crumbled all over me so I ate the icing and left the base of the crumbly cupcake. I wasn’t concerned about the cupcake but the macaroons were off. So being a mom and very aware of allergies I took them both back in (literally we had a tiny bite out of each macaroon) just to let her know the flavor was strange (tasted like (banana and not chocolate chocolate)She seemed open to my comment and offered to refund the money and get me something else. I said, it wasn’t necessary and she began processing the refund. I said maybe it’s just an off day because my favorite flavor cupcake tasted dry and crumbly and I showed her the half eaten cupcake. She then said “I’m sorry I guess you don’t like us anymore”. The most immature and strangest reaction for an owner to have. I said “of course we still like you – I come here all the time”. Just a very strange and unprofessional interaction.

I was excited to see that a business nearby was celebrating Harry Potter's birthday and I couldn't wait to go pick up some treats. This was my first visit to SAS Cupcakes and it will most definitely be my last. The shop itself is somewhat cute if you are hosting a kids' birthday party there. They had it decorated for the HP event with backgrounds for taking pictures, which was a nice touch. It was about 30 minutes til closing when I visited because my boyfriend and I decided to stop before going to dinner at a restaurant nearby. I understand needing to clean up for the day but customers still need to be treated kindly no matter what time they're coming into your business. We weren't greeted and the girl helping us seemed impatient as we tried to decide on macaron flavors. There wasn't much left to choose from and I am now grateful for that because the macarons ended up being terrible. I love macarons and had never had one that I would consider inedible until these. We purchased 3 flavors: butter beer, French toast and (mixed?) berry. Not sure what the last two flavors have to do with HP, but okay. The butter beer was okay. The other two...well, they went straight into the trash after one bite. The mixed berry flavor was totally artificial and had a bubble gum-like finish. The texture of the macarons was completely wrong and the filling was just sugary icing. I had a stomachache after these. They were a complete insult to the word "macaron." They're much closer to cookie sandwiches. On top of that, severely overpriced at $3.40 each. The few cupcakes I saw on display looked dry and unappealing. As I said earlier, first and last visit.

The other reviewers are right about this place, the cup cakes are dry here, frosting is super sweet. seems like they do not know how to make a good cup cake here and are just winging it. I read some other one star reviews and seems like several people are saying the same thing that my family thought. Do not recommend it.

We received cupcakes from SAS through a promotional effort by a company reaching out to us for advertising and PR purposes. While it was a very kind gesture by the company the cupcakes made by SAS weren't great. They were so heavily laced with preservatives that tasting and picking up the intended flavor type was difficult to determine. It could have been a chocolate cupcake. Or it could have been a spiced cake cupcake but who can say for sure. The cupcakes were definitely lacking any tlc and had no distinct personality of their own. Since the reach out was done through courier mail it would make sense for why the cupcakes are why they are what they are because delivery time can vary from weather delays, short staffing of delivery crew or other factors there is no guarantee that the cupcakes would still be in a good state after arrival but I find it odd that this is a way to reach out since it's small, little cakes that could meet a disastrous end and not reach their destination. What positive aspect resulted with this less than fresh experience was motivate me to go to a local cakery but ten minutes away and get their superior cupcakes and reminded me that I should patronize them more often.
