Biggest mistake of my life was purchasing a used vehicle from Scott Clark Nissan. A total sham. I purchased it in winter not even thinking I'd need to check the air conditioning since they hadn't mentioned anything was wrong with it. Come summer, I find out the air conditioning didn't even work. I tried to schedule an appointment to get it checked, and they push my appointment out two months because of Covid. By time I get in there, they say my warranty ended two weeks before and they couldn't help me with it. Within a year, the independent rear end started going bad. I was sold complete junk and there's no accountability from SCN. They will sell you a lemon, a lime, a POS and mark up the price like crazy. We settled on a price, and by time I was approved and we moved to finalizing the paperwork, it was $5k more. If you're going to buy used, I wouldn't dare suggest you go there. They will not tell you the truth. I'm going to be upside when I get rid of this thing.

If you need parts you need to see Scott! This guy goes way above and way beyond your expectations from researching to making recommendations. Scott does what other part guys won't do. Who ever signs his paycheck needs to give him an extra couples zeros on his next paycheck. I've been going to Rock Hill for all my parts but I've found a new reputable and reliable parts guy!

Service on my vehicle was completed half way. At the beggining of my visit, I clarified with the clerk about what I needed to get done and he gave me a quote. I thought the pricing was more expensive compared to other shops but they promised me that their parts were long lasting and that the service would include the cleaning and check-up of my battery. The latter was uncompleted and when I told the clerk, he said that he only agreed to cleaning one terminal and tried to tell me there was no corrosion in the other terminal when it was clearly visible. They tried to sell me other repairs, but when I inquired further they couldn't justify the repair. They're just after your money, very dishonorable and unprofessional. Will not come back. Do not recommend this shop.

Still no paperwork and no return call. Nothing changed. Info for taxes will be needed and this is going to be a problem not just for me - just found out the interest rate they told me was 2% higher than I was told when calling the financial institution. These issues from my original review still stand and it's close to a year later.....do not trust these people with anything. They have not responded to BBB complaint or NC consumer protection. Still no bill of sale or anything.

I have NEVER been treated so horribly in any situation where I am the consumer! I was having difficulty finding the right used vehicle. I had an awesome young man as my sales rep. Unfortunately, the reviews on this site are so accurate regarding this dealership! Too bad I didn't read them first. This review is long but I hope you take the time to read it!The last car I drove I really liked but there were issues with the car. It needed the front bumper fixed and they weren't sure they could fix the dashboard which had some peeling or something going on plus it didn't get that great of gas mileage. I let them run my credit anyhow to see how it would pan out. While I was waiting, I was second guessing the entire decision because the cars aren't even clean! The pushy (think used car salesman stigma type) manager comes to discuss the "deal" they are going to offer me. He starts saying something and I said "I'm not even sure I want to purchase this car" to which he goes OFF! He folds up the sheet with their figures on it, tosses it across the desk and loudly says, "Then what why are we even bothering? What is the point?" I was just shocked. I said, "I'm just frustrated" and he replies, "You were that way when you walked in here." What?!?! That man wasn't anywhere near me when I walked in! He showed up after I was having a conversation with this sales rep. Then he aggressively holds out his hand to shake my hand (I'm still in shock that I'm being treated this way) and says "we're done" and after shaking my hand gets up and walks away. The nice young man that had been working with me wants to show me the figures they worked and this sales manager is across the room YELLING at this young man to get him to quit talking to me!They would NEVER treat a man the way I was just treated. It's as though I didn't have the right to change my mind! How does he know I wouldn't have gone home and thought about it and decided that was definitely the car I wanted? My advice is to stay FAR FAR away from this dealership! I was looking for the general manager's contact information and, not surprisingly, it is nowhere on their website. That's a bad sign. They know they can treat people like this and nobody will do anything about it! There are too many car dealerships in Charlotte and the surrounding areas to bother with this place. I think I will take another reviewer's advise and check out the Subaru dealership next!

My salesperson was excellent. The tag/title department is HORRIBLE!!!!! I bought my car February 12, 2022 and it is now August 8, 2022 and the have NOT transferred my tags as of now. I have been going round and round with them. They have blatantly lied to the MVA about my old car. Then lied to me about calling me. I've called them numerous times with leaving a voicemail and no response from them. Please be careful and stay on top of your paperwork because they do charge!!!

I have been coming to this Nissan for 2 years. It disappoints every-single-time. I leave feeling un helped or cheated. Every time I go for an maintenance and for check up because of a trip and my tire was always needing air, they say there's nothing wrong and their mechanic looked at the tire and found nothing. Every single time I went to a next door small mechanic and they turn the tires in front of me and show me the nail. So due to Nissans mechanics and reps in the booths lack of care I have been wasting double the time and money. And been more in danger.I have been waiting for a better experience so that this review would be more constructive but truly I am not going to go into every situation and how completely bad experience it has been each time. Overall if you can avoid getting service here please do. Oil changes and maintenance can be don't anywhere, I thought coming to my make is best but it's not. If your visit is related to your tires do not come here and waste your time. Only come here if you have a Nissa and something is wrong and if it's under warranty they'll do it. Just make sure to keep calling them even if they say they will call you in 3 days then then to confirm etc. also, ask for a loaner ahead of time so no excuses can be made like in my situation... you can read it below if you want or just follow my advice and avoid it this place like the plague. The last straw was when something in my car needed to be ordered and fixed under warranty. I got there and asked for a loaner, first I was told Nissan didn't do that, then after explaining my situation , I was told they didn't have cars instead. As I continued to make a point that I have wasted so much time due to their lacks and I shouldn't have to miss work the next day due to Nissan, the representative get frustrated he catches an attitude and says " we don't have any cars right now, you need to call ahead for it and I just called them and they had no cars." Then he goes and calls again. And the loaner office says they do have a car, it had just got in. I am telling this to show that's the overall effort I get here in general. I am here a desperate single mother asking them to help and instead of compassion and extra costumer support and service (who goes above and beyond)... I get a narcissist who does the minimum then gets mad at me when he gets caught, treat me disrespectfully and calls the coworker to finish taking care of me who's appalled expression said everything. The other thing is that the same guy helped me before when I had to do a tire rotation they never found the nail and I proved someone's else did so I asked not to be charged, he pretended to agree said he put discount in and after I paid, the receipt reads the discount he added is also put back under the name miscellaneous. So chested. SmH luckily it's been enough time that I don't remember his name.

Possibly the pushiest sales process ever, and I didn't even go to the dealership! I received 4 calls and multiple emails over the span of 2 hours. WTF. I have a feeling that if you make the mistake of visiting, they'd probably be just as pushy.Editing my review because they have since called way more times. It is borderline harassment. I asked multiple times to be placed on their do not call list and they KEEP calling. The last time, I told them to put me on the Do Not Call list and told them I'd contact the FTC if they called again. They called AGAIN. So I blocked that number. They then called from another number. WTF. By far the worst experience I've had at a dealership, and I never even went in!!!

DO NOT consider this place to buy from. I've waited until everything was done before I wrote this review. I traded in my vehicle in in early March and purchased a used car (2019 Subaru) from them. They were SO pushy from the start. After I purchased the car, I found things wrong with it. The lever used to move a seat forward and back didn't work, some interior lights were burnt out, and the brakes felt terrible. They did take the car back in and fix these items at no charge to me but it is worrisome that they sold a car with completely worn down brakes and pads. The first time I used the windshield wipers, I found they were flapping and so old they barely wiped water away, so I had to replace them right away. A motor in one of the front seats is broken so that will have to be replaced as well. The car only came with one key. I asked them for another and they refused. After pressing them more, they offered to pay for half after I bought the key and submitted a receipt to them. The dealer I ordered from could not even believe they made me buy a second key. Keep in mind they resold the car I traded in for $8,000 more than they purchased it for from me, they didn't come down a single penny on my purchase price and yet they couldn't even supply a second key? I've had to go back in a few times since the purchase and it's like they don't even know me. I guess since the sale is complete, they don't need to be so friendly. And communication with them after the sale is pretty tough too. I think they pick and choose what they want to respond to.The finance department was NOT an issue to work with but the sales department and the sale of this car was a mess. I do love my car but I would NEVER buy from here again. I've learned a lot from this purchase, I can say that. But, please, save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.

This review is mainly about the Service Department although I did buy two new cars from them as well. I'm a Nissan guy at heart as I have been driving them as my primary vehicle for more than 30 years!Scott Clark Nissan has a fabulous Service Department and I have been doing business with them for many years! They have never steered me wrong on services that needed to be done. In fact, they have set me straight where others tried to lead me astray! I once had some work done at BJ's Auto where they told me that there were grooves in my brake rotors and they couldn't be "turned" anymore. They took me back and showed me the grooves and insisted that the rotors needed to be replaced. I said thanks for the "advice" but declined to have the work done there. I took it to Scott Clark Nissan where they promptly informed me that the brakes were going bad but the rotors could be "turned." This saved me several hundred dollars at the time but more importantly it gave me a life lesson as well! Integrity is everything! Never let people without integrity work on your vehicle as they will inevitably lead you astray to rip you off!Actually, this isn't the first time this has happened. I had another mechanic tell me some work "really"needed to be done for my vehicle to be safe. Once again, I got a second opinion at Scott Clark Nissan where they informed me otherwise. As stated previously, I have bought two cars from them as well. Remember I'm a Nissan guy at heart! The first time I bought a car from them we were exposed to a traditional salesman. He did give me a decent deal but I was exposed to the high pressure sales tactics that are commonly employed by them. My advice is to use the internet to look for cars they have in stock to see if you're interested in any of them. I found exactly the car I was looking for minus one option that could be dealership installed. They agreed to install the option as part of the deal. At the time, I wasn't really sure how good a deal I got at the time as I hadn't researched it thoroughly enough prior to going in. After I made the purchase, I researched the numbers extensively and promptly concluded that I received an extraordinary deal! I do have a beef with their "Document Fee" as it's a total crock of shit! Dealerships pretend like it's some kind of governmental fee but it's really just pure profit for them! In any event, they wouldn't drop the document fee but they fudged (adjusted) the other numbers to make up for it. Ultimately, I was very happy with the deal I got from them!
