There's something wrong with the people in here. Two tellers inside, neither would speak or look at me. An old lady came out of the bathroom and said "Okay thanks, goodbye" and neither replied or even glanced up. I literally started looking around to see if there was a bank heist going on with robbers hidden somewhere I couldn't see. No, they're just... inhuman. Even McDonald’s employees will accidentally look at you, but not these horrors.

Worst company I've ever dealt with. Won't notify you of owing anything. Then will put your account in repo status and not work with you to try prevent it from happening no matter the circumstance.

I have been with Sharonview for nearly 10 years. They have always been helpful and courteous to me. The S. Tryon St. branch staff are great people.

Steele Creek Branch provided great experience. A heads up to watch out when exiting an office. The glass was very clean on the door in the offices, and a person hit his head trying to exit one of them.

Went in for help to get my mobile app working. After about 15 minutes "Raquel Cooke" took great care of me. Give this woman a raise! ?. I Have a new location to visit when I need assistance.

I've been a member of SFCU since 1975. This used to be the absolute best financial institution in the state. I even had all my family members open accounts with them because they were so dedicated to their members. Sadly, I truly believe they are the absolute worst banking choice now. Called today to see where my new debit card was, since my current one expires this month. I was told they were 3 weeks behind in getting them out, so all my monthly bills which are deducted via my debit card will not be paid unless I drive 30 miles to the closest branch. This is totally unacceptable. This is just the most recent problem in a long list of issues that continue to get worse each year. Every home, car, boat, etc. that I have ever owned has been financed through them, however, it's now time to leave them behind and give my business to someone who at least appears to care about its members. On a final note, DO NOT get their credit card. If fraud occurs on your card, you stand a pretty good chance of having to pay it back, regardless of any fraud protection.

Consumer Beware! Went in to deposit a Treasury check at Steele Creek branch on 8/22.• told by teller there would be a hold for 10 days on check, no explanation• something didn’t sit right with me so I called in afterwards and got call center where agent read verbatim that policy dictates that funds from treasury checks will be a made available immediately as long as check in account holders name which it was• asked for supervisor and was transferred to corporate agent Stephanie (suspect that wasn’t her name) and she conveyed that agent did not know what she was talking about and there is no such policy. Then why would agent have it? She just got an attitude and dismissed my concern• when asked for copy of policy she advised she could not send it out and to find my welcome packet from years ago which has the infoI’m just one consumer but, I will convey my displeasure with SFCU to any colleagues, friends or family that ever ask for banking institution recommendation. Have stuck with them even though they don’t use money transfer systems such as Zelle which is a huge inconvenience. Will also write to NCUA to make my concerns noted. BE WARNED!

checks are cash. with a check if you take it to the listed bank they are supposed to Angie same amount in cash as long as they have the correct amount of cash and the writer of the check has the correct amount of funds in the bank. for some reason this bank decides to transfer a money cost a fee no matter what. There is no reason for me to start an account with this bank because there's not one in a relative proximity to where I live. They said that's the only way to get the fee waived. This is the only bank that has ever done this to me. Overall a incredible poor quality of service and ridiculous fees and policies .

After 6 months - closed fraud case finally after 3 months, clearing my responsibility..still NO DEBIT CARD, USE FOUNDERS CREDIT UNION INSTEADBBB review. below -Im 50+, been with SFCU 10+ yrs, I have several types of ***** here and reported fraud( charges were not in my name). SFCU took my debit card privileges away, without communicating as to why? I found out by having a purchase decline (I was so embarrassed!) They donʻt communicate, I have even emailed the President of SFCU several times! No response! Im a *** and feel like I am being punished for reporting the fraud on my acct! SFCU is unprofessional, and unethical! Take your money elsewhere, you will be much better off and wealthier in the long run!

I am so frustrated with Sharonview right now. I have purchased cars, credit cards, personal loans, you name it. My account got messed up so I called the bank and three people lied to me on three different days. I sent emails to the bank and no reply. The BBB May get their attention. This is poor customer service at best. I will walk away from this bank.
