Had an issue and can’t contact anyone because their contact number doesn’t even work. Beyond ridiculous if you can afford to own a gas station, you can afford a phone bill.

I visit the store recently for the chicken after a 2 year hiatus, because they began letting goons run the store. Unfortunately, that had not changed. Also, do not be disillusioned by the store response to negative post. I'm sure they're quite aware of the presence they employ there.
The chicken was still good. However, the food attendant had the charm of a cafeteria serving death row inmates. The guy at the register was even worse. He literally was eating from a plate while making customers awkwardly wait. He was disturbingly indifferent to the basic expectations of his job. I think the people they're hiring are not the people you want to make sudden moves around. 🤔

The food is good, Especially the potato wedges, however the gentleman working at The register is Not only rude, has no sense of urgency to clear the line. I understand that it is late hours, but respectfully people have lives and things they can be doing instead of waiting forever for him to ring up one item at a time at a very slow pace. Not sure of his name but that should be looked into and also security is needed.

I used to come here back in my teenage years. Decided to stop by and grab a quick lunch. The cook was pleasant and gave me information on the food selection. I decided to go with the 3 wings and one side with an additional side. The sign said small Mac and cheese $2.39 but when getting to the register I noticed the cashier changed the price. I asked how much for the small Mac and cheese and she said it wasn't apart of the sides and it was going to be $3.99. I showed her the sign and she told me that still it would be $3.99 because it's a large and the cook gave me two scoops instead of one. I said well you could've advised of the mistake before just changing the price to see if I was still interested. Customer service is dirt now compared to when I was younger.

Antoine cooked the best seasoned chicken I’ve tasted so far! I’ve been here several time but this time was a totally different experience not to mention he was very helpful! Give Antoine a raise ??

Listen. This is a moderately ghetto gas station in a mostly non-gentrified part of east side. It ain't going to always be fresh, clean, polite. You might witness some drug deals, you might get harassed for a dollar. Maybe some dudes who haven't seen each other in a minute have a very loud reunion in the middle of everyone else standing in line. The point is, it's 11pm-4am and you need some solid fried chicken, potato wedges, and various gas station snacks and if it's before 2am some more booze. (Don't ask if they have wine. They will laugh. Don't ask me how I know.) Go inside, go to the chicken counter, and get yourself some of Charlotte's best fried chicken ever since they closed down the plaza chicken king.
If you have an air fryer, get it to go and reheat it at home and honestly it's 7/10 which for a gas station is top tier. For gas station chicken it's 9.5/10 stars, only beat by some of those reallllly middle of nowhere spots where it's effectively one of the only restaurants left in town.
All in all, don't listen to the haters. They are obviously salty and jealous that they don't even own a gas station, let alone fry chicken in it.

the food was not fresh at all, the cook said that they would have to sell out until she cook some more before second shift and it’s only 11 o’clock. & when trying to notify the cashier she had a very nasty and rude attitude. ALSO SHE WAS ON HER PHONE THE WHOLE TIME AND SHE HAD HER AIRPODS IN.. if this the type of people you want working for you, you’re business is going down hill.
