This store just has the worst urgency and customer service. The hours are so inconsistent! Just make a damn time when youre open and not open.

Went to this gas station for three items and had to wait several minutes to check out because the only employee was smoking her cigarette in the parking lot. When she came in to finally check us out she had a nasty attitude like it was our fault she had to do her job. I asked for items behind the register and she snarkily quipped that they didn't sell what I was asking for and when I pointed them out to her she rolled her eyes. I then proceeded to ask her if there was a trash can I could use to throw out my old receipt and she put it into the bag of items I had just purchased. Not the first interaction I have had with this employee but definitely the nastiest and after this interaction I will never be taking my business here again. This took place april 12 around 7:50 pm.. management needs to hire friendlier people because this interaction was unacceptable

Worker got mad I had to use the bathroom ?. My stomach was killing me! She gave me a dirty look. I am sorry my stomach was killing me. Does your stomach never act up. You act like everyone is perfect! Because of this! I am no longer spending money here! I am taking my money else where! Don’t go to this gas station!

It was quite crowded, and the pumps would not take credit cards, so I had to enter the station, which was not a good place if you believe in being covid safe. The whole time I was inside, there were 5 people wearing masks, including myself. The clerk was very helpful though, and the food must be awesome, because the lunch crowd was there in Full effect.

Employee with purple hair is borderline physically abusive if you don't wear a mask. She chases you down & gets in your face.

I mostly blame myself for stopping here. The outside of the station looks post-apocalyptic at best, and the parking lot is so cracked and uneven it's certain to damage the under carriage of your car. The staff are rude and borderline hostile to customers--at least when they are actually working and not taking smoke breaks. Only Shell station I've ever felt unsafe at.

The credit card reader on pump 7 is different than all the others. (Really.)

The best fried chicken!!! Gas station is nothing over the top but what you would expect by size of the building but the chicken smelled great, couldn't walk out without a plate. It was a delicious lunch a fabulous price!

First, a brief history lesson: You never would know it now but this little family owned Shell location was once the only business illuminating the corner of Providence Rd and Ballantyne Commons (which used to be Providence Rd West), and far predated the restaurants, apartments, business parks and yes even the Harris Teeter that surround it now. Hard to imagine now, I know. It is now a rarity, which is the ONLY gas station located at one Charlotte's busiest intersections but unless you are going south on Providence or west on Ballantyne Commons, you can for-getta-bout-it. Traffic is insane and, due to lack of other similar options, its small parking area is always packed. If you do stop by, you will find that the store itself sells a lot of hot food to go. Service is friendly, pumps are fast and receipts are restocked regularly. I have never had to trek inside for one. I rarely stop here unless I am sitting on E, like this morning, and at which times, I am as thankful to find them on this corner as the late night driver on a dark Providence Rd 25 years ago. Oh yeah, there's also a bonus: Providence Produce sets up a stand on the property during season.

The location of Dillon Roof's last ATM transaction... So I guess it's somewhat notorious? Otherwise, it's just a gas station.

Gas station is alright. Pumps always work, prices seem to vary a lot, and pumps always work fine. Can be a pain to get in and out with Providence road traffic. This spot has a cool local farmers market which is nice It's seasonal, but very reasonable prices and great selection..
