Cody and George really took care of helping me get set up with my Internet at my new apartment! He also help me figure out what to do for my online account that was having errors because we moved from NC to SC. They know what they’re doing and appreciated their help!!

On Sunday June 11th at 3pm, the internet went out due to bad weather (which it always does with this provider anytime it rains “too hard”).The last time this happened the technician was negligent and didn’t turn my Wi-Fi back on for my building’s unit, so I went a WEEK without internet (as a work from home employee). Extremely unacceptable….Today, Monday June 12th at 6:30am I called to see why my building still has no internet (again as a work from home employee) and no updates on what’s going on are in the system. Technicians have supposedly been working nonstop since but I was told it’s just my building without internet again and that they have no idea when the internet will be working again.Then at 7am I received a text saying if my service outage lasts 4 hours no or longer then I’ll receive a credit as if there hasn’t been been a service outage they’ve been “working to restore” since yesterday at 3pm….Update as of 9am: I received a call and text message saying that the internet was restored YET ONCE AGAIN, my building is still without internet even though the “internet is restored”.I called a representative who I am now speaking with and even though I have been without internet since Sunday at 3pm and they’ve sent away the team that was “working to restore the internet” I now have to wait until tomorrow Tuesday (June 13) at 10am-11am for them to be able to send out a technician to fix my building’s internet. Negligence to my building only ONCE AGAIN. Spectrum’s service is a joke at this point honestly.I’ve literally never dealt with a provider that had as many issues with providing internet as Spectrum does. It makes no sense..then they try to push more services on you as if they are efficiently able to provide the one internet service you’re forced to have with them if you live in an area like mine where they are the only provider. The only plus out of all of this is the old technician supervisor that always is quick to help after the week of me going without internet but I shouldn’t have to bother him for things like this.Update: A lot of false advertising when it comes to the efficiency of this company’s internet. Yet ANOTHER random internet outage in the middle of the day today at 2:30pm for no reason at all for the next four hours. I work from home and when I say ITS ALWAYS SOMETHING with this company’s internet it always is. Then they don’t send out technicians for days typically. If you can get another internet provider other than this one, please do so. They sent me a text saying my internet is restored when my apartment is the ONLY unit still without internet.I have to wait until Saturday for an appointment..so no Wi-Fi to work from home the rest of my work day or tomorrow..WOOHOOOO !

The Spectrum store in the Stonecrest shopping center(Rea Rd) has an excellent staff of surprisingly very experienced techs. Much more knowledgeable than calling Spectrum support for mobile service. My experience with the phone support is worst than awful and like the coffee, Chock Full of Nuts after spending a total of 4 hrs with four representatives, all giving conflicting information. My last attempt was to go to the store. What a refreshing feeling in finally get straightforward solid assistance. Special recognition to Sharoya Bracey and store mgr Cody Bell for solving the activation issues where Spectrum phone support failed miserably. Be warned!

Spectrum is hands down the worst internet service I have ever had to deal with. Unfortunately in NC they have monopolized the state and they are the only ones people can use but as you can clearly see from most reviews about them that they are terrible. I would suggest trying any other possible alternative before having to resort to them. Unfortunately we are in an apartment and are forced to use their services but any time I try to connect to the WiFi I have to reset the router at least 2-3 times. If there is any other possible company you can go with besides them I would 1000% go with the other choice.

I spent 3 stressful weeks (for a unique problem) and four visits trying to set up my new phone. I had just about given up and then I met Sharoya. SHE was AMAZING. My phone was set up in no time. Sharoya is knowledgeable, so kind and very patient. ??? I’ll recommend her to everyone I know looking for a phone.

I came to this store after not receiving help at another location. The team here was friendly and knowledgeable. They took their time to help me with a mobile issue and my experience was 10/10! I will make the trip to this store again for any future needs.

This is basically a criminal enterprise masquerading as a legitimate company. I used their internet service for 15 years before I moved to a new residence in Charlotte without too many issues other than the occasional outages.The problems arose when late last year a Spectrum representative was soliciting in my neighborhood. He told me that they were running a special $39 internet and $29 TV service when combined. He stated that there would not be any installation fees since I had been a customer within the last two years.Well, needless to say, the bill wasn't correct from the beginning. They sent me a bill for several hundred dollars. I called their "Customer Service" multiple times to get it straightened out all to no avail. I spent more than three hours on the phone getting transferred from this person to that person and none of them straightened it out. One representative even told me that they couldn't make any corrections or adjustments until I made a payment. As a good will gesture, I did make a payment of $160. I was told that the illegitimate charges would be taken off. They made some adjustments to the bill but it was still far from being correct.When they would send a new bill after that, it would just have "previous balance" or "past due amount" with the new charges added on so I could never see what credits they actually gave me and which ones they did NOT.Eventually I just canceled the services but they still kept sending me bills that were never fully corrected. I told them that I wasn't going to pay any more because the bills were never right to begin with.Well, it only gets better. They sent the bill to collections. When the collections agency contacted me, I informed them that the bill was never right and that I absolutely refuse to pay it. Furthermore, don't ever contact me again!In summary, this company is a joke and a bad one at that! If they screw up your bill their "Customer Service" is absolutely incapable of doing anything about it. They should just call that department "Customer Diservice" and be done with it.Do business with this company at your own risk! As for me, I will never do business with them again!

Went here with no hope and 10+ hours of already talking with customer service people. Earl and Sharoya literally saved my life and were so patient and helpful. I was there for a while and they stayed friendly and patient the whole time. Tried every solution imaginable and wouldn’t stop until it was fixed and thankfully after hours they fixed my problem and I am so eternally grateful!!

Purchased new IPhone from this store. Went to return it ten days later. Stood in line to find out I needed to come back the next day to see Cody the manager. I came back had same rep from previous day. Cody is in a meeting and will be out shortly. I explain to rep I am recovering from major surgery and waiting is hard for me. I asked the rep “do I look healthy” and he shook his head no. The manager Cody made me wait 1hour and 40 minutes before he appeared. All three reps on the floor saw I was hurting and went back numerous times checking for me. I told them I couldn’t come back again as I only had 14 days to return and soon they would be calling 911 cause I was going to pass out on floor and that was no joke. Finally he came out and it took him three minutes to return my phone. The rep that had handled me from beginning watched the whole thing shaking his head. Totally uncalled for behavior by Cody the manager. My wife couldn’t believe I lasted that long there but I paid for it when I got home exhausted and drained.

If you’re ever in this store ask for Brooklyn. Patient, kind, informative and talk about CUSTOMER SERVICE! I can’t say enough good things. Switching from AT & T to Spectrum took some time but he made it easy

I recently visited the Spectrum store at Stonecrest Shopping Center with an issue concerning my iPhone. Brooklyn, a helpful employee, not only resolved the issue quickly and efficiently, but he also took the time to demonstrate additional features and settings on my phone that could be very beneficial. To top it off, he even offered to check my Internet service on the spot. His kind and thorough service exceeded my expectations and was a pleasant reminder of the quality of customer care that still exists in our world.
