Just when I think SECU couldn’t get any worse their own 24/7 help hotline has some dumb advertisement promotion going on it that for some reason you can’t even skip. Then it’ll take you straight to the promotion hotline from SECU’s, I can’t express how terrible my experience is with this bank every time I have to deal with them. Your job can be done with a calculator

This has been my branch to bank in when working close by. It's super convenient to go in the drive thru and do my bank business. I have never been inside this branch. The drive thru employees are always professional and helpful. I love having an account with this Credit Union. Today I noticed that the branch is closing and moving 6 minutes away. State Employees Credit Union 901 N Wendover Rd Charlotte, NC 28211 (Review 660 overall, 5 in 2022)

Everytime I go to this location there is an issue with my transactions. Most commonly I ask for all $100s when I make a withdrawal, and it’s always an excuse, “oh I’ll have to see what I have”. And everytime I get a mix of bills. And if I ask what happened to the big bills, the response is “that’s all I got.” Not to mention they never send a pen to sign the slips with. The entire purpose of going into the bank/drive thru teller, is to get my money the way I want it. Otherwise I’d save the headache and go to an atm. When I go to other locations it is never NEVER an issue! I refuse to go to this bank anymore.

I've been banking here for twenty years and love State Employees. This has to be my most favorite location I've been and make it a point to come here if I have to go inside. For years and years every time I walk inside I am greeted with warm welcomes. The employees handle difficult banking situations with compassion for the customer. I've had many of these with payments from insurance. The wait is never too bad and even if it is a little longer than normal, everyone does their best for each customer they are helping. Even the security guards are awesome.

The staff was completely professional and knew me by name even as I drove up to the teller window. Such a quaint branch, the Wendover brach, but an extremely kind team. Their positive attitudes show passion for their careers, multitasking skills, and confidence to continue learning as the banking indusrty soars.
