Today I visited this branch and was assisted by a teller name Nick. I handed Nick my ID and check to be processed into my account. After receiving my ID Nick decided to sit it on the counter top. I sat there for a brief second to see if he was going to actually hand it back with my deposit slip. To my disbelief this rude teller decided to slide my ID and deposit slip across the table. For a instant second I thought about correcting him but it wasn’t worth my time. I have an opinion on why he did it but who am I to say. It was very rude and if I come back he will not be handling my business

I would give a 0 stars if I could. Horrible customer service. Someone at this bank ran a credit report without permission. Also closed the wrong account. DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY IN THIS BANK.

Best bank in the free world, nay, the known universe. Brandon is the epitome of professionalism and customer care. I'm absolutely a member for life. It'd be asinine to go back to banking with WF or BofA after SECU.

I got in a car accident. I was not at fault. Recived a large check from state farm. An African american female teller told me i could cash my check at JP Morgan..because it was issued by JP MORGAN. Well, I went to the bank around the corner..you can't cash a check there. It was a total waste of my hour lunch and time. Please inform her and staff they are mis informed..Maybe she doesn't know.

An unknown person gave my card to the state employees credit union on arbamarle rd. and the one uptown told me about it being there this all happened when I lost my wallet honesty goes a long way they couldve taken the 100 that was left in and due away with the wallet I'm lucky on my behalf thanks

I went during my lunch today to turn in my new membership paperwork. I arrived around 2:20pm. The young lady signed me in and I sat and waited....I was the only person in the waiting area. Even at the teller counter, there was only 2 or 3 members being serviced.

Even at the teller counter, there was only 2 or 3 members being serviced. The "member services reps" (3 of them: an older male, younger male and an older aged woman) walked passed me several times, never acknowledging me by a simple "hello, we will be with you shortly"...nothing. after 10 mins of waiting i got up and left and decided to mail my info back instead. I will never go to this branch location again. I used to work at a credit union many years ago before I switched to the medical field and was always courteous to my members. They need to up their customer service skills at this location. Very poor!

During the past week I stopped at this SECU location to deposit a check. Usually I go to another location but the Park Road location was on my way from work. The teller advised me that he had to get assistance with the check. After ten minutes he returned and gave me incorrect information about how to deposit the check. It was made out to me but he gave me information as if the check had been made to another person, it would have involved me having to contact someone out of state and obtain additional documentation. A different official did eventually deposit the check. I was unhappy that incorrect information was given to me and that it took 45 minutes to deposit a check. I spoke with the general manager of this location but all three individuals were defensive and implied that it was an error on my part. On the whole NC SECU is a great organization but I would avoid this location.
