StoneCrest at Piper Glen is a popular shopping, dining, and lifestyle destination center located in the heart of Ballantyne, Charlotte, NC. This open-air environment offers a wonderful mix of retail, restaurants, and entertainment, catering to families with its expansive open spaces, quaint courtyards, and seasonal events. Visitors can enjoy good food, clean facilities, and comfortable seating, although a spotlight may be left on during the first 15 minutes of a movie. The area can get quite busy, especially on Saturdays, but the convenience of having various shops, restaurants, and a movie theater in one location makes it a great place to visit and relax. Customers appreciate the friendly staff and great service, and the center is a favorite for its variety of offerings, including a favorite restaurant called the Joint.
IMAX is great movie viewing. Seating is very comfortable. Concessions are overpriced.

This is our favorite theater. Many good theaters inside. The parking lot is very large and very safe.

This is a super busy and popular theater with a wide variety of movies constantly showing. I went for The Doors anniversary screening, and it was very cool that they were the only theater in the area offering it. They also have a full-service bar, which definitely came in handy.
