Sunset Hills Golf Course is a great public course to practice and play. It is relatively cheaper than other locations and offers good value, such as an affordable afternoon tee time. The course is very open and easy to play, with a layout that is well laid out and fun. It provides a good variety of fun and challenging shots, making it a great course for beginners and experienced golfers alike. The greens are well kept, though conditions can vary; they are either extremely fast or slow depending on the dew. Some reviews note the greens weren't great and had weeds, so expectations about course conditions should be managed. The property has seen upgrades like new golf carts and improvements to the pro shop and snack shop. Play can be slow at times and the course can get a little overcrowded, with some holes close together. There isn't always anyone to keep start times on track. While there have been isolated incidents with staff regarding pace of play, the management team is known to handle issues professionally and demonstrates a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. The staff is otherwise always friendly and helpful. For the price, the course is generally considered fine and a favorite for many.

Great public course to practice. Play is slow at times and there isn’t anyone to keep the start times on track. I’ve had a great time both times I’ve went though.

Amazing for the price, greens need a little work but it is still early in the season! I will definitely be back!
