I have a car payment through Truist. When paying with my debit card, they treat it as a cash advance and inform me my bank may charge me for it; however, it can be avoided by opening an account with them. What a scam. Today, banker Charles had another customer give her ss# ORALLY, IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS, and told me to mind my own business when I called it out. Going to refinance with MY bank. This bank is SHADY!

Went to this location for a deposit and notary. Kyle helped us and everyone else were helpful. Quick work. In and out took us 10-15 minutes.

Suspicious bank. I am not one quick to remark upon racist tendencies, but my painter was given complications at this Truist branch, that no other worker was given.I make all landscaper and contractor checks out to "CASH." All my other workers were permitted to cash their checks. He was denied. There are two differences; He owns his company, and he was the one Black man working for me. I doubt it is his self-employment status blocking this Truist from cashing a $2,200 check. So what reason is left?I wasn't permitted to speak to a branch manager. I have a lot of money in this bank. I should have been permitted to speak to a manager.Malakai, or whomever I spoke to over the phone stated I had to come into the bank with my painter, or my painter had to open a Truist account. Since when has this been a policy? Certainly not since I wrote the other checks out to "CASH."As I stated, this bank location is suspicious. If your skin isn't white, I'm guessing your business isn't quite right. Pick a different location, or another bank all together. I'm disgusted my painter is experiencing this. I'm seriously considering closing my account of 10 years. I dare them to call me again to invest in their money market accounts. NEVER!!! Keep your racism away from my money, and the honest hard working workers I employ.

I hate this bank so much because why is it always closing early on Saturday’s when they know the ATM doesn’t let you pull out barely anything even after a certain time you can’t withdrawal your money and I think that’s weird.

The most deplorable customer service from ULLA UFAQ. She tries to make individuals feel small when handling our money and not realize we are the reason that she has a job. I think I’ll be switching to Chase Bank since the customer service has downgraded since the teller Stephanie has left and the merger.

"Sorry for the inconvenience" is the only thing you'll hear from them. SunTrust bank is not having off hour customer care so be aware and most of the times their online services will not work. Recently I am not able to add new payee and the reason is silly: "you are not authorized to add a new payee". They have numerous issues with online services which they don't want to fix quickly rather find excuses. AVOID Truist even they pay you 1000 bucks to open account.

Great customer service, was on crutches and everyone was very accommodating to everyone that came in, not just me. It was very nice to see. Opened a new account, it was quite simple and all my questions were answered with ease. Wonderful banking experience for a change.

I wish that I'd read all these Reviews first!! This is the WORST BANK that I have ever deleted with in my lifetime!! Cherry on top happened today, when I encountered the most rude account agent in the bldg.! They can thank you that my business acct will be moved away from your institution this week!

Had an appointment at 10am. Got there at 10am and was told everyone is with someone, they were going to be a while. I asked how long and was told probably atleast an hour. I again said.... but I had an appointment. Then I was told it'd probably be faster to go to another branch. So I left. No apology

1 teller in lobby. 1 teller drive-through. Seriously? Looks to be 30 minutes to make deposit. Plus banker lady is in her office with four open talking very loud on phone calls with customers. Privacy please??

Since they have switched to Truist it’s always a issue I can never access my account when I need to in order to see my balance or even the automated system says it doesn’t recognize the selection chosen to access my account information as well I will be looking for a new bank

They ran out of money.!!!! Don’t have replacement temp cards. They are telling people go to the atm this bank is trash. Bring back suntrust please. I been calling customer service for the past 3 days. The wait times are 50 minutes long. Then the phone would hang up. I been with Suntrust for 10 years, I never had a complaint. This merge will make them lose a lot of customers

I was the fifth car and waited in the drive-through for 30 minutes all to be told the system was down and I wouldn’t be able to deposit a check. There were no signs indicating this, and it had been down all day. I went the next day after calling to ensure the system was operational. I was the fourth car and waited 19 minutes before I was at the window, and another 9 minutes before I was helped and able to leave. Merger or no merger, you expect more professionalism at a bank. Side note: I had just left the DMV and spent nearly the same time there. That should leave everyone baffled.
