We have been looking for good NY style pizza since we moved from Upstate NY. We decided to try Tony’s pizza because we had heard good things about it from our neighbors. We ordered a build your own pizza with ricotta. We loved how they swirled the ricotta around the whole pie. The toppings were very generous and the thin crust was crispy but not overdone. And on the leftover reheat…just as good as when it was fresh! As a bonus we were able to order the fried mushrooms as an appetizer. They were delicious and something you don’t find in too many places! We will definitely be returning!

We love this place. GREAT pie. Reminds me of the place we used to go when I was growing up in Jersey.

Great pizza by the slice. Tasty and crispy. Great fried ravioli. Great prices. Generous portions. Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere, also had good outdoor seating. This is my new favorite pizza place.

I haven’t been to Tony’s in a couple of years so I visited recently and ordered my “go to” a slice of pepperoni and boy was it good! Their single slices is so large you have to fold in 1/2 to eat it! I’ll be back soon!

Didn’t greet me or anything. Just a blank stare. Therefore they get a 1 star for customer service alone. He doesn’t know who I am I don’t care if I came in to ask for a napkin. The least they can do is greet potential customers. Not sure if it’s a race thing or he was having a bad day. But no thank

We had this delivered last night. We hadn't tried it before but my wife is from NY and wanted something to remind her of home. They use Door Dash for delivery which is too bad. I checked the box 'for hand the pizza to me' vs 'leave on front porch.' I get an email that pizza was delivered to front porch 5 minutes after it was delivered. Sure enough, it was cold. Not even warm. Pizza itself was bland, crust was very chewy. We won't be trying it again. Farleys is much better. As for Door Dash, as long as they want a prepaid tip, I'm not using them either. Too many times food arrives cold. If you do a good service, I'll happily provide a great tip in cash.

When you pull up at 8:55 for a take out pizza but they have all the lights ohh, chairs flipped and open sign off. Only to call to get a to go pizza and be told “we are already closed.” I encourage management to enforce proper closing time procedures or adjust your time in the door and online.

Best tasting pizza and garlic knots in Charlotte, quick and excellent service. We have been coming to Tony's Pizza in Ballantyne for many years (about 8 years) and we still prefer Tony's over other Pizza places. We enjoy their salads (Greek Salad is what I get each time with pizza) and my husband loves their pastas as well. Our favorite is their super large pizza (their largest, I think it's 3 feet in diameter) we laugh each time because we can hardly fit the box through the door when we bring it home every year on Valentine's Day, it's been our tradition for the last few years. I just found out they make anchovies pizza (not on the menu but they offer when you ask), I am looking forward to try it out.

I went to this location on 1/11/2024 to purchase pizza and two chicken cutlet Parmesan with spaghetti entrees to go. When I got home and opened the dinners the sauce on top of the spaghetti had a brownish color which was probably from dated tomato sauce. The chicken cutlet had a slice of cheese on it which was slightly melted in the oven. I was extremely displeased with my purchase. I tried calling the next day in the morning to speak with the manager. I was told he went to the bank and would call me back in fifteen mins. Five and one half hours later I still haven’t been contacted. I called the restaurant again only to be told the manager has not called back because he was in meetings all day (Really). I wasted fifty-one dollars on food that I would not even feed to my pets. As a paying customer who has purchased only pizza from this restaurant in the past. I would never think they would be so egregious as to not listen to my concern. I will never patronize this business again, this is unacceptable. After contacting the restaurant and requesting the manager call me. I was told he was in meetings all day. As of this update to this post the manager has not returned a phone call after five days. This business is absolutely a location customers should be cautious about patronizing.
